Hello everybody! I am currently growing in Canna COCO using A/B Rhizo Cannazym and Bloombastic. I still would like to incorporate molasses into my grow, hoewver. Does anybody have experience with nute line? Or something similar? I just dont want to add the molasses if there will be little or no benefit. Thank you in advance for your replies
Flaboy1,
Haha great question. I have read some links to such the question. And have just finished a couple of harvests with using the Canna Boost, and Black strap. The yield did decrease when using just the molases compared to the boost. So just my two cents. But now I am gonna look at the Bud XL.

For magnesium. It really helps a lot if you have a mag deficiency! I'm now using it every feeding and plants have no new rust or necrotic spots.
Yeah Chronic I agree that most of those sexy bitches seem to exhibit Mag Defficiency, especially in flower. On some of the strains I have, they always seem to show that. To what extent various. I use the cal/mag constant with them all. But with molases, which I have been experimenting with and has an insane amount of Calcium.
Which may be locking out Potassium, if memory serves me correct. Anyways, back on point.......hahah.
Yeah epsom salts does the trick in most in flowering, but they still need the Calcium.

Quick question. is it chill to elminate coco a and just feed with coco b. Mixing a dilution of canna coco b with 15.5-0-0 calcium nitrate and 0-0-22 magnisum phosphate. silica, kelp, mircos and benificals supplements incorperated as well. Ph'd to 5.8. Messing around with few diffrent fertilizer trials in coco on tomaters and herb. Just curious on ur dudes' opinions.

your okey to start adding the rhizo now, canna says to add 6ml to 1L at start of root formation and go lower from there, remember u dont have to worry about over doing it with the rhizo,

I'm about to make a transplant into the coco. i Read that you should use RO water and get it wet. can i use rhiz with the RO water PH'd for the presoak?

from what ive read in this thread, Jberry says that the coco does have Trichodermas and all that jazz but watering with tap water or flushing with tap water rinses it out. thats why you use RO water cuz it doesnt rinse it out.

I never use RO water... Ive been using COCO for years. I believe Cannazym promotes any microlife that may be 'rinsed out' by it tho. The whole reason we want RO is to get the excess salts that accumulate in the plants roots. Im wondering why you would want to put them right back into a plant?

jberry says mate dont flush with just plain water, tap or RO cos you risk messin up the coco buffers and damage your micro life......RO water will still damage them!..........if you want to flush just use a quarter strength A&B and cannazym.......you should only use RO with the canna coco nutes if your addin cal-mag also, but if your taps good why bother usin it!!
jberry also talks about addin other micro life thingys, different kinds so must be good......thinkin more the merrier!

so i could either use RO water and add CAL/mag or use tap water. my tap has PPM of about 200. this sound right?
Yeah thats right mate i use my tap water with 2ml/4l of cal-mag......i dont take ppm's so on my 1st run i didnt use and in flower i got a little mag deff so this run ive added from start and no probs
Canna take it that 200ppm is mostly calmag in your tap witch isnt always the case so you may need to add a little or none at all
With the RO water im sure i read jberry sayin add the cal-mag till you get 0.2ec witch is 200ppm i think mate so you will prob be good mate with yours but just be ready to add if you get probs and then once you no the right amount just keep it at that for your future grows!!

ok so im having some yellowing on the leaves and red veins on the leaves and stem is red. im figuring they are hungry? i gave them a small feed of canna A 6ml +B 6ml and rhiz 15ml per gal. ppms were 330 and ph at 5.8 with RO. Ive got these under a 4' T5 6 bulb at about 13" above them. 2gal pots canna coco. im also wandering if i stuck them in the 2 gal pots too early. they were makn nice roots in the dome after 7 days. yhey are at about 11 days now, room temps nvr get above 82deg and no lower than 69deg. humidity is a lil low ranging between 40% and 60% but how crucial is humidity? any help would be greatly appreciated TY Johnbs8

Yeah johnbs8, sounds like they may want some nutes. Even at 11 days those nutes sound about right. How long ago did you give them the nutes? It will take a bit, like a couple days to a week, to see if they were needing those. Sounds like they did. Some strains are more touchy than others and display the red veins, even when there is nothing wrong.
Just my opinion bro.

the strains that are really showing the purple veins are blueberry. the other three im growing are orange kush. they seem to not be affected as bad as the BB's are. i fed them all anyways. tap water at 200ppm + coco A n B 6ml of each and PH to 5.8. total PPM is around 400. hoping they come back but im sure they will as they just have to be hungry. will keep all udated. thanks for the help. also, how often should i be feeding these guys? it takes about 2 days for them to start to get dry. i read that i should always keep the coco moist. for theses lil guys what kind of feed schedule should they be on. what to look for?
