I need advice on maximizing yield.

Use Bloombastic instead of HG's bloom stimulants... much better quality smoke and comparable yeild.... i have seen the difference first hand...

Good choice on the cloth pots. Although your harvest might be better if you replace them with 5 or even 10 gal cloth pots. These extra large root zones should develop more mass under hps's on the rail.
Also i have heard of people putting less plants under the rail so that the rail goes past your plant line so the plants under it get more even coverage. Your technique looks good.
One more way to more out of your light rails while not the cheapest, is to upgrade to sealed reflectors so you can take the heat away from your bulb source and be able put your light directly over your plants. This can be expensive if you plan on upgrading your ventilation to inline fans, but if you wanted to take the heat away you could attach an axial duct booster to your reflector and save on costs.

I need to see some more info here man, can you show me pics or someone else's thread or something? What nutrients are you talking about exactly in the H&G line?

I agree with the larger pots but just not wanting to use the extra soil right now, in the future i'll have a worm bin then be using 5 gal. Also not sure if have any experience but adjust a wings are great to keep close to plants, don't have them close in the picture because those super stretchy plants in the middle would be receiving no light otherwise (in fact the tallest is not getting any intense light to the top cola, still pretty fat though). Adjust a wings can be changed to intensify or spread light and with the super spreader you can get about 7 inches from the tops of the plants. No need to exhaust room stays around 77 degrees. + rep for insight man thanks

Pluck off leaves that block buds .... it's a no-brainer... we ain't raising leaves... I got 14 oz off of two plants under a 600 watt HPS, but I also harvested over 2 pounds in leaves. I wasn't aggressive enough on the defoliation.

Hahaha, I can't take you serious, nothing I have ever read says you should get rid of healthy fan leaves. So I guess I'll just wait until all the budsites are developed then pluck alllll the leaves. haha

Top Booster, Bud XL and Shooting Powder should be used by more experienced gardeners in my opinion... and they can take time to dial in to each strain for the right doses... if not used correctly they will stress your plant as much as they help... I like Canna or HG's entire line for flowering, except for those stimulators because even a semi-experienced grower like myself can get it wrong with those nutes sometimes... but bloombastic serves as a really potent bloom stimulator and its easy to use and very forgiving... Myself and many i know have nixxed those other complicated stimulants and replaced with Bloombastic. We get even maturation and a great balance of quality to quantity. I start low doses in week 3 and work it up to heavy doses in weeks 5+. I have some pics below my 2000watts hydro over drip tables, these are in perpetual stages, sorry the pics are blurry, i will post more showing clearer closeups tomorrow, but those buds on the right are in week 5 and they are hard as rocks already, the other table is at day 8 of flowering, they look flawless...

Actually that is exactly what I did on all those pics I posted up previously. When you crowd you ladies the way we do it helps a lot.

LST, topping, bush master, phosphoload, liquid kool bloom, powder kool bloom. hit me up for the details on how i use them but thats all i'll give out, like texas suggested be careful with these, always start out with less than or no more than .25% of what they say you should use. but if you want to play with the big girls these are whats up. check it out below...

Ok so bloombastic is good, any others you'd recommend?

Since you are growing multiple strains, you should give vertical lighting a go. Totally handles the uneven canopy problem and produces bigger yields from the same plant do to the fact that you can get a light closer to a plant with better penetration vertically than you can horizontally. Combined with a stadium type of plant arrangement, you'll be happy with a more productive garden.

Very nice looking and EXACTLY the kind of field of buds you want for a max yield. FYI I know where to get the main PGR ingredient for Phosphoload and can make about 20 liters of the stuff for under $50 if you are interested. What strain is that and what kinds of yields are you seeing ?
