Canna Aqua Vega vs Sensi Grow

I am going to be starting my 2nd DWC grow and I have both of these nutes available. Which one should I go with? Also, my non-chlorinated well water is 250 PPM. Do I even have to use my RO? My filters are bad and its only going down to 150 anyway and who knows with the rust and crap that is in the filters...

Thank you very much. +rep. Also, I can't remember if it's supposed to be fully submerged or not. Right now my seedlings are small so it's kind of hard.

do u have iron in your well water? i ask because i did before and my ro system would get beat to shit trying to clean up the rusty sulfur water i dealt with, my plants hated it i hope this isnt your situation. if it is i in the end went with a provider of 5 gal drinking water jugs for the water coolers. peace

You don't want net cup fully submerged just below the net cup... Ideally you want the water level even with the bottom of the net cup UNTIL roots hit the water, then lower the level down 2-3" and keep it there for the rest of the grow.

I have no idea if I have iron in my water. Not even sure how to test for it.

Ill have to dump some water out of them I guess. Thanks for the heads up. Afraid to let it go a day and have it evaporate and then they are dead. Downside is having them drown and then they die. Just no happy medium until roots are established in the bucket.

The bubbles you have aerating the reservoir should be able to splash and hit the bottom of the net cup. I can have the water level down 6" below top of lid and still have water droplets on the bucket lid...
