Vegging with T5 lights - need pics

Hey there fellow growers . I am looking to upgrade my grow system a bit . The wife is giving me a few bucks and going to let me get a T5 light so I can veg with and improve my turnover times . I am looking to buy a 2 foot 8 bulb set up going in my closet . I am very curious on how fast the girls will grow during vegg . I want to make clones and root for two weeks , and then veg for 5 weeks in my large cubes . Does anybody have any pics of them vegging with T5 lights ?

i veg'd them plants for 5 weeks,in 2 gal pots.
i add 4-42 watt cfl's,two to each side works well.

That is going to depend on what works for you . Right now I am vegging with a 400W MH but am looking to change things a bit so I can flower full time with my big light .

I used a 2ft 4 tube T5 in Veg. In a month the clones were 19" tall. That was in DWC. Too bad the plants ended up having a defect and needed to yank them last week.

I use 3 X 4ft 4 bulb T5's in my mother and clone/pre-veg tent and a 6oow MH in the main veg area.
The only thing the MH has over the T5s is a bigger footprint and being able to hang higher over the tops, otherwise I would NOT say the MH does better the the T5's. The plants love them both.

According to some growers HIDs produce fatter stems and faster growth. I've never did a side by side but did just order a 4ft 6 tube setup as I only need clones every 2 months. Going to have 4 mums under it to feed a 36 plant sog
