when i changed the pots the last time a few bits of root broke and the other half threw them into the soil mix, now theres a new shoot in with the bigger of my plants, it looks like a seedling(2 round leaves) and is the same size as these were when they broke through soil. is it possible for a peice of root to grow into a new plant? anyone know. or is it just a peice of cress.

well heres a few pics anyway of the new light aswell.
some nice power and a lot better coverage than the cfls. but im still going to get a red cfl just for a little extra.
in the third pic u can see the little invader. dont know why it showed up now, shall i rip it out of there.

Going to be heading out tomorow again to hunt the allusive shrooms, im hoping i hit the bigtime as its been a nice temp and lots of rain. Great for our slimey trippy friends

Ok Guys someone told me today ,this sounds wired but he told me if i diluted down my piss and used it on my next couple of feeds it should sort out my problem...has anyone heard of this...thats the wierdest shit i have ever heard

i dont know if someone is taking the piss but i would not smoke your weed if you piss on it!
just get the results of your ph up and then if thats ok you can go on to the next step, either too much nutes or not enough, i personally would always say its a case of the later, early on in my grow i had to flush the plants and they picked up again within a day.
guys what is the best nutes i can get over here for my plants that are all in flowering stage now because there getting a bit deficient in a couple of things.

i took each plant to the bath and poured through about 10 litres of water, leave them in the pots and really you want to soak them, totally washing out the soil, dont let the water sit on the top and roll off down the sides, make sure it goes down and out the bottom, you will feel like you are drowning them but dont worry they will be ok. make sure the water is nice and clean, i filled a bucket myself and let it stand overnight. when you have finished and all the water has drained through(usually have to wait about an hour for water to run completely through) take your plants back to nice warm area(which u have,i didnt!) and then just leave them too it. dont water for a while after because they will have enough. i was a bit too keen with nutes but i learned my lesson and now only use a tiny bit every second watering. the device from b and q i tiold you about is great.

Just realised I didn't even put up the pics lastnight, I was in a bad way after the j I smoked, put green and nice fluffy hash in it mmmmm
Anyway here's the auto's I can't remember which ones I've put up and which I haven't as the folder is all mixed up, also I think I got 2 different gene pools of them one is big and light green the other is dark and half the size but the same height, you'll see here.
Here's a few pics of eve, before and after she got a haircut...all the fan leaves for some reason died a horrible death but they didn't discolour or anything they just shrivelled up and dried out, I think it was stress as I bent her over a bit to get more light, that worked out ok as the budds the whole way down turned to the light and started growing that way, she's taking up nutrients like nothing normal so I think I was right about the growth spurt thing, you can see the false seed pods I was on about on one of the pics at the top.

they are looking very nice indeed, very fresh looking, how many have you got going at once?. on your big plant did you just go mad and cut all the old leaves off, cos a few of my old ones need trimming i think. also are you going to start a journal with this bunch as it would be easier to follow if one of us needs any advice on an auto grow.

Thank for the support man, I have 2 autos and 2 strains I don't know but their indica. Yeah I went a bit mad with the fan leaves but after a while you don't really need the big ones as the budds grow their own little fan leaves to reflect light into them. Trim off the bottom half of them if you feel they need it man it'll not affect them too much and if you want to do the rest whip them off when the budds get bigger, maybe halfway through or close to the end of flowering.
Gonna do a journal no problem but I'm gonna wait until I have them finished and harvested before I do, from here on in I'll have a constant grow of auto's, I have 3 more ak seeds to grow and next I'm gonna do the ak/blueberries, lowlife released them in the last few weeks and my 2 fav greens are ak and bubblegum, that would be the closest to them.
