well heres the system, hydroponic, buckets, 12-12 lighting, and 2, 1000 watt lights, but for 24 plants... should i take his word on it?

24 pounds off of 2000 watts?

No, sir. 2000 watts= at most, 4-4.5 lbs, working at the edge of your ability.

Myth busted!

If you're saying that's the system he grows with now than it sounds like he knows his stuff and probably is telling the truth.

LOL. Tell me- where do you suppose I can find me some "12-12 lighting?"

Because I must've missed the boat. I'm not getting 12 pounds per thousand watts with these "12-12" hortiluxes...

I interpreted what he was saying is that's what he is growing with currently but his friend has done it in the past, not per plant if he is growing 24 at a time. That's impossible. Here's a 1 pound plant.

i run 2 eye hortilux 1000w hps with 12 5 gallon buckets about 4 months total with good nutes i get about 3-5 oz per plant i'm not the best but i've done it a few times and think maybe 1-2 plants under each light if he was real good he may get 1 pound plants but no way with 24.. more likely he gets a pound from the 24 plants...

that' a nice plant 420god but you can't do that in a 5 gallon bucket under a light...the rule of thumb is a great grower can get a gram per watt so 2000watts is 4.5 pounds max..

Indeed! More like a 25 gallon rubbermaid, dwc, 6 airstones. At least that's how I did it. It was a 2 year old Apollo 11. I had it sitting in between 2 1000 watt lights, along with its much much smaller clones growing beside it. Its root ball couldn't even squeeze in a 5 gallon bucket. 17 oz dry. Sweet Jesus- not one effing picture of that thing.

Thumbs up to that enormous outdo' monster. I'm sure she was a joy to trim.

He might able to get one pound wet off a plant. lol
It's so depressing to see a pound, pound and a half, of wet bud dry into a quarter pound. Well, not really.

Speaking of wet weight-that legendary unknown and unseen indoor monster that I speak of what probably about 5 lbs wet. Not sure, though, but it did have its own clothesline when it was drying. :)

Haha, that´s cheating - the question was is it possible INDOORS. I have got a pound a plant dry lots of times outdoors.
