adding lime fuks the medium. its all ballanced as new only add if it wont rise ph on its own. they add a certain amount of lime depending on the pH of the mixed items in medium. adding more throws it out

maybe not over but watering to often. your only letting the top dry you said then hitting it again. needs to dry all way to bottom of pot each time or this will never fix.

perilite and premix has nothing to do with you not letting it dry to the bottom. its never what we use its always what we do to it.

That is called "cycling". Which is the proper way to water your plants in soil.

what is...not letting the bottom dry or do let it dry. call it what ya want its how its done. i just call it a dry/wet cycle

so medi your saying im over watering and the roots are getting to wet?

Sorta. You're not getting them too wet, you're keeping them wet, for too long, and never letting them dry in between waterings. Water heavily, let dry for a few days, and repeat, over and over and over.......

i have...but ill do again.

let it dry till almost dropping. all the way to the center in bottom of pot. then make a batch of water pH`d to 6.3. keep pouring it through till the ruin off is at about 6,5 ish. let it dry again like above each time nbow. let it dropp if you have to so you know how many days. then next time water or feed the night before....or morning
this is a tropical and does way better on the dry side. keepin it wet like that is fukin with the cation exchange...which is pH the plant gives off basicly. theres way more to pH than what we do to our water or foods.

also being an auto back off on the foods they recomend,. they dont process as much as a reg plant and if light is weeker then it needs lower ppm also

moving ph up like that can cause ph imballance and you get them twisty distored leaves. use the same ph always for food water or to run a flush. only time its not important is the final flush

Especially happy frog with dolomite lime mixed in it .

How long have they been in this soil? From reading what your posting and don,t take this the wrong way I,m just throwing it out there
I think your convinced its a ph problem when it's somthing else wrong .Post sum pics so we can troubleshoot this better.
