Advanced Nutrients Iguana Juice user's discussion.... Need some details...

Hi, I am new here and have been researching everything I can about cannabis lately. I have started my first grow indoors with a 600 watt air cooled setup. I have the whole line of AN organic nutrients and was wondering of we could share information on how if anyone here has been using the Iguana Juice. I have 4 Cali Skunk girls at 3 weeks from seed and they started showing a good amount of Nitrogen Def. last week. I have used AN's nutrient guide, but I am thinking this plant needs much more Nitrogen than the schedule recommends! If any and all the AN IGUANA JUICE USERS could chime in and let me know how their results have been and what kind of changes were made to the feeding schedule and amounts that would be sweet. The IG grow is 3-1-3 NPK and so far I have not even gave them 1/2 strength as the sched. called for. I have bumped up the level to 6ml for 4 liters last tuesday, but the lower leaves keep getting yellower and have started to get brown spots and it's working it's way up! So i hope this thread can enlighten me to a a better Nut. setup and also just see how everyone likes the fertilizer and results from it. I want to get me girls back in a better mood so they can give me some quality stanky dank in the end.... Thanks, BTW this site has been a huge help for me and inspiration with all the nice grow journals and info.. Keep it up!

I just bought some, flipped my first crop the other night so.....

Smells like shit though. So unless it yields some nice buds I'm going to look for another organic bloom formula.

Haha, you don't like it already just because the smell??? Your grow room does not get smelly because of this though. It's not bad once mixed it their pots... I can't understand why their is such a small amount of users chiming in on this. I guess everyone else is running the un- organic stuff to get faster results...

But still waiting on users to let us know how it worked and what their thoughts were.

No, not running un-organic stuff, just stuff that is at least as good as AN, but at a much lower price point, Earth Juice.

im just finishing up a grow using most of the organic AN line, i too had difficulty finding the right amounts to feed my babies, i first followed there nute calculator,(i have a 40l rez.) and it seemed like they were getting fed enough, i noticed on the bottle it says some outrageous amount feed your babies, so i started out around there, and kept going down cuz i noticed some nute burn, i wasnt keeping track but i think i was putting anywhere from 70-90ml in my rez. everytime i changed it, that seemed to feed them just right, i would give them a little over half strength and just watch your girls, if its hydro. you should see a difference within a few days, ..........but i think the calculator is pretty accurate on what you should feed, just play around with it, you'll figure it out.......i did and this was my first grow, ill post some pix up later........ im about 2 weeks from harvest ill let you know how they turn out

hey MOTOKID, heres some pix, i dont have any flowering pix yet, im taking pix today, the pic where they are the smallest they are about 2 - 3 weeks old since i put them in the tent, they were clones i got from a buddy, he fucken forgot to water them too so when i got them they werent in the best condition, they didnt look much different 2 weeks prior to when these pix were taken. but all the pix are 6-7 weeks into veg. i made the mistake of not trimming them before i switched the light, i really didnt think they were going to get as big as they did, i will be better about that next time, REMEMBER THIS IS MY FIRST GROW AND FIRST RUN AT HYDRO...... ill post some flower pix later when i get a chance to take them later today

Moto- I have been using AN Iguana Juice bloom for some time now, 1 1/2 years on all grows. Not the veg because FFOF soil contains enough food to get them through, I do however treat the soil with dolomite lime to provide cal/mag. One thing I have noticed with this line is that it seems to be lacking some micro and macro nutrients, such as enough cal/mag. Before realizing that Iguana lacked nutrients my plants would struggle a bit from defiencies, no nute burn though. The best way I have found with this line to feed the plants was to use 3 teaspoons per gallon no matter what and they seem to really like it at that dose. I have used other food line ups as well and the yeilds are consistant accross the lines. However, the Iguana Juice increases the quality and taste of the bud far above any other line I have used, this is just my opinion. Quality rather than quantity is what I go for.

i too had some some cal/mag def. in the begin, i got some Cal/Mag by Advanced Floricuture or something like that, it was 30% off so why not, fixed the problem within 2 weeks, the small plant pic is what they looked like with a cal/mag defiency.

In hydro grows I think liquid cal/mag is more available to the plants because of the water as the medium. Have used this product and continue to use it with every watering but they just don't seem to respond to it through a watering, they seem to like the dolomite lime better, I think though it is only because the dolomite binds to the soil. I may have some pics to show Iguana Juice Bloom in soil and how it is or has been working, I'll be back......

I too have no complaints. I switched to iguana at flowering last run and am still usin it this grow. I'm actually usin the bloom bottle for veg this time around becuz the NPK ratios without P flower additives is a good veg formula along with sum cal/mag. 4-3-6 bloom base + 2-0-0 cal/mag = 6-3-6 which isn't a univeral ratio for veg or anything but its one that is working good for me. Add sum pihrahna and rhino skin and then u will really be healthy and green. On the phone not desktop so can't upload pics at the moment but check my sig and u will see my current grow I'm a month in with 10 bushes at the moment. Ill cum back to the thread later to post pics later tho cuz I have pics from four weeks away from harvest on my last gro and they were already huge I wish I had kept pics goin. No one was really posting in my journal so I ditched out on it and kept it to myself. Oh well happy growing and ill be back tomorrow to post those pics. Anybody who's bored and can't wait it is the dudes cup of coffee thread in dwc aeroponics subcategory. Do the search thing it shood cum up. Go til the end and there u have it a jungle created by AN iguana.
Dazed...never confused,

They do have a strange npk ratio for their bloom nutes. It is very different from the ratios of other line ups.

Mistakes during the first grow are very common, most of the time though we can still pull it through enough to smoke it. Every grow gets you gaining experience and they get better as you have more time under your belt.
