This is a simple thread.

Post what you are having for breakfast lunch, or dinner today. (depending on your time of day)

Tonight I am eating a very simple Tuna submarine sandwich with black olives mayo, black pepper, and tomato, topped off with some banana peppers (semi hot).

So, what's on your menu tonight?

Grilled teriyaki chicken, grilled asparagus w/blackbean and garlic sauce, baked potato w/lots of butter and sourcream. Wash it down with ice cold Arizona Ice Tea and then one of my "special" oatmeal, walnut, raisin cookies.
That should put me in the mood for an exciting night RIUing. Oh yeah.....one daily cholesterol pill.
By the way, you're all invited.

I ate late tonoght.I had some chick fil a and waffle cheese fries.
I had my first chick fil-a last year and was pleasantly surprised by them....nice.

bout to make some turkey burgers and curly fries :)
Hmmm... not a big turkey eater.... but gobble gobble....

risotto leftover bbq ribs and fried zucchini it was bomb
I only cook country ribs (no bone) however, simply out of principle. I can't stand the idea of paying half the money for something I can't eat.... the bone. I only buy racks of ribs if I have company, because a good host gives the company what THEY want to eat...

LOVE fried Zucchini... Mmmm Mmmm. Now I feel full after reading all of this...

It taste the same too....both are very close in taste and I find the country ribs more tender. Boned ribs are a COMPLETE rip off. So if the price is $7/lb.... ur really paying about $14/lb.

Might as well buy Lobster.... and be done with it...

Home made enchiladas?

Yep, but not normal mexican style rolled enchiladas. My girl makes these killer spanish style enchiladas. Kinda like a lasagna but instead of noodles, flour tortillas, red sauce, rice, cheese and chicken. Its awesome.

Mmmm MMmmm ... I'm gaining weight just reading about them....

I love Spanish food. Whenever I go to Puerto rico.... I get picked up by friends.... they KNOW that we are going to stop at least twice on the way home to eat along side of the road.

My brother in law... without fail will tell me he won't eat at those shacks because they have no bathrooms.... so the owner must be filthy dirty.... I just give a big smile and say ... PULL OVER...what doesn't kill me makes me stronger!!

The first time I had Mofongo... i wasn't that impressed. probably because there were so many other things on the table that night which appealed to me immediately. But like a fungus.... mofongo grew on me until it made my top three. It was the same story with pesteles ... my first impression was ...so-so...but then after awhile... MMmmmmmm bring'em on. My wife's family was impressed at my willingness to try EVERYTHING.... twice.

Folks.... if you have never been to P.R., you have NEVER tasted what pork SHOULD taste like. The BOMB!!!

=============================

Okay this morning i just finished having Boysenberry pancakes.... excellent but so sweet....syrup is unneeded...
