im guessing the older folks might buy this stuff. Im always surprised to see the diversity of people in the dispensary. Yeah I think the price is retarded, but im glad to see new products like this. With time, price will fall, im hoping these types of nugs become more common =)

This sounds really similar to "honey bud" in the dispos in the bay area, its only $40 a gram here though, more than a gram top shelf buds ($20) and less than pure BHO at $60 a gram.

The honey bud I have sampled from the area dispo's tasted fine, just like BHO. Its been around for years here in Cali.

And just as a side note....Ain't no herb worth $1400 a ounce, thats highway facking robbery and obvious exploitation of the situation. That dude should be ashamed of himself, but, if people are stupid enough to pay that, who am I to argue...some have more $ than common sense

People pay. I once spent about 5000 dollars finding out that Dom Perignon is the best champagne available for 100-500 dollar price range. Yes I was stupid and I think just turned 21. It was vintage 1996, of course they arent all the same, but time and time again, Dom proved superior to all. Young and dumbs, old and boreds will be buying this.

Dude....1400 bucks for dank weed covered in honey oil. LOL, I do this my self all the time. I take the trimmings after a harvest, add a little bud and make honey oil. Then I find myself a nice 4-5 gm. nug and coat it in the honey oil. Let it dry in a small jar for 1-2 weeks and Enjoy !!

Honestly I had a bottle of 1996 it was great but I would say WhiteStar is usually superior. ;-)

Well, I'm the one they quoted in that article. It's a little sensationalized and we don't have people coming in for ounces of honey buds. The most we've ever sold was an eighth. $60 a gram is pricey, but its high end oil and high end buds. We usually encourage people to start with a quarter gram for $15 to see if they like it.

Reminds me of my "Honey Grams".
I take a about a gram sized bud and spin it round some very fresh Honey Oil.
Then I sprinkle keif and let her sit for a couple days.
It makes for some heavy dosage medicine.
I reckon they are worth about $30 a piece.

i just smoke a bowl of honey oil. takes about 30 seconds for the rod to heat up.
No doubt, its much easier just keeping the 2 separated and applying as needed.

You said you use a rod. can you elaborate.
I use a razor blade and hemostats for mine.
I warm it up and scrape off flat glass.
The razor works great for spreading oil onto a tobacco leaf or paper.
