A theory about life.

Thanks for this GK. This is so enlightening, and provides an avenue to remind ourselves ~ I had the fortune over the past couple of years of reading the Invitation, the Call, the Dance and What we Ache for (Oriah Mountain Dreamer) - and found great peace with these readings. My challenge remains in subconcious and uninterrupted execution - the act of being and not doing. Your words bring further clarity for me. Thanks so much for sharing!! :blsmoke:
THERE own worldly identity is irrelevant to them... they may be sweeping the main floor at grand central station or taking care of orphans in the desserts of arfica...

They don't care if you call them a dueche bag or punch them in the face... YOU Can give nothing to them and you can take nothing from them.. they have become WHOLE..

All men wonder what happens after dealth, but no on really knows....but I have an interesting story, I have a friend that hit a tree(no seatbelt) and was in coma for a month and he made an interesting observation on how it was to be in coma, he told me for all he knew he could of been dead and never knew it...its hard for are minds to imagine such nothingless...like when you sleep with no dreams....maybe when I die it we'll be like when before i was born or conceived...hard to contamplate

i knew a girl who recently died in a car wreck. the car rolled onto her and crushed her internal organs. she arrived in our hospitals emergency room where i know a girl who is a registered nurse. the girl in the wreck died for 1 minute and flatlined. when she awoke she screamed out "help me i am dying!" she then flatlined again for a little bit longer and then sat straight up on the gurney and let out another blood curdling shriek. after that she died for good. it freaked out my nurse friend friend badly. i keep running through my mind what she saw in those final last minutes before death. i will never know until one day i take that same journey. some people have died and come back to life only to describe what everyone was doing in the room while they were clinically dead. many things we will never know til we take that mysterious journey. i have often pondered death and dying.

Personally, and I have no amusing anecdotes to back up my thoughts other than...it's just what I feel, everything is just energy, you don't "go away" or "come back". It's just an on going process. Your physical energy is lost while perhaps your spiritual energy becomes enhanced. Then, maybe, your spiritual/mental energy will find another physical source to bond/bind with. Or maybe, the energy will be content never to attain physical form again. Who knows how it really works. There are so many aspects of our universe that remain invisible to us.

Consider: "I did it for me."

Sounds like a simple enough statement, correct?

But who is the 'I' and who is the 'me'? Obviously, the statement implies that they are one and the same...but are they? The 'me' is an object in a conceptualized world. But the 'I'...that's the tricky half. 'I' is the do'er, the feeler, the agent. The "real" 'I' cannot be defined, because when the 'I' conceptualizes an 'I', a 'me' is the result. Ultimately, 'I' is not capable of understanding 'I'. Instead, 'I' can only understand 'me'...and 'me' is not 'I'.

An eye can't look at itself---but it can look, and on my good days, the things I see fill me with...'I'.

I had a near death experience when I was 4. I was in a coma for 7 days.

My experience medically was without explanation. I talked openly about it when I was a child, but soon I found myself stalked by writers, physhologist, and paranormal researchers. I have never talked to anyone about it who simply wants to make a dollar.

I wish medical privacy had existed in the early 1970's.

I remember my experience vividly. I do, however, speak to people who are in hospice care and uncertain or afraid of death. I think it helps to comfort them to have an insight of what awaits us on the other side of our existence.

I got one question

The first time in your life when you said " The god dosent exist" or "God is not real"

Did you feel like you were lying or little strange feeling in your chest that was telling you

that you are wrong ? Happened to me. It felt something triger in my chest. But i still dont belive in god who is watching us all the time if we are bad or good. I belive in higher race who created us.

Yes i believe this also. I believe that we all evolve to different dimensions or levels of conscious.

I also believe that this earth is for slow learners as as human beings with bodies as well as souls we are consciously sleeping most of the time.

I think that "TIME" doesn't really exist but only for our learning experience. We do know everything we need to know unconsciously, we just need to awaken ourselves to listen to it.

I love this kind of stuff.
Meditation can bring out more of your conscious awareness.

Great question.:mrgreen::blsmoke:
Hello Ms. Green,

GREAT thought... There are many who believe that we actually evolve to other "learning centers" and that earth is actually the place for the SLOW learners.. LOL...

and that ONE can actually evolve to become a PLANET or a star...

The most interesting and revealing item in your post to me is this..
"I just had this inspiration come through my mind"

YOU are very close to understanding something about thoughts... maybe you already understand...

We as humans NEVER have thoughts or make thoughts... we only become aware of thoughts... this is called MINDFULNESS or meditation or watching the mind.. or "being awake..

Most humans are asleep and lost in the CHATTER of the mind and thus believe that THEY are actually coming up with THOUGHTS...

and they view the world through these thoughts...

There is this Taoist saying..

stop thinking.. everything you have left, is REALITY..

I'll have to dig it up, but there is quite a few people that believe the soul is made up of energy (like what powers everything as even the body has small electrical charges_

This is indeed an interesting topic.
I do Reiki and find energy healing quite tranforming.
Unfortunately I haven't done any treatments on others for a while.

Great topic.
I am a Taoist Spiritually and also instruct T'ai Chi Chuan. That energy felt during Tai Chi is nothing more than the spirit. It is that same spirit that heals people during Reiki Treatments.

I always found it weird that people always associate incense with something used to cover up the smell of weed....

Truth is... during Taoist ceremony the object is to open a gateway between the spiritual and earthly world. The objective is to allow the 2 spirits to communicate in order to bring greater wisdoms to the earth.

Incense is an important part of the ceremony, as it is believed that the smoke from burning incense carries our messages to heaven.

Weed... Incense.

I feel certain weed was used at some point in this ceremony and the incense was not in place simply to cover up the smell. :)

Absolutely. We are all made up of energy and when the human form dies the energy doesn't. It just transforms.

I've had that happen to me. It is a lot like an out of body experience but you just know you are in suspension. Neither dead or really on the other side.

I would think it would be freaky if she was flat lining and coming back over and over again. Her mind body and spirit and in total shock and not ready for the transition yet.

I'm sure she was fine and made it ok.:blsmoke::peace:

isn't it eh, Lacy....I have read and re-read that....and I expect I will continue to do so. It just really sits very well and yet I feel compelled to read and re-read. I am fascinated with this....I love this thread. So much to observe and listen to.....a collective learning. ...... only another month and a half and my bud will be ready...ahahahahaha :blsmoke:

You know what I thought about once while I was tripping. I thought that a parallel universe could be possible. A universe were there is another me typing this exact same reply to this exact same thread. Maybe its a day later when they type it or maybe even a year before I type it. This is how I came to rationalize this thought while tripping. I figured if the universe is as big as they say it is then maybe in some far far far off galaxy there is a sun just like our own. This sun formed the same way our sun did. Planets formed around this sun just like ours. The exact same thing went on that happened in our solar system. I figure if the universe is as big as they say than why cant there be an exact copy of a solar system. Maybe there is even a slight difference like the time when there's started. The only thing with this theory is that if everything was done twice would it all work out to be the exact same. Like if there were two exact solar systems would we make the same choices and would we have the same outcomes in the end? Who knows?

Oh tahoe. If you like this concept you will really like this one book I have that really elaborates on this concept. It really gets you thinking differently. One of the books is called 'A course in mircles" but that is not easy reading. I'll go upstairs and check out the other one for ya.

Its REALLY good.:mrgreen::blsmoke::peace:

Has it occurred to anyone that we are all part of the same Consiousness? Not just we Humans. Plants, Animals, Single Celled Creatures, Rocks, Water, Air? If you buy that idea, the rest of the universe, and everything in it doesn't require much of a stretch to include on one's list.

If that's the case, when we "die" it is possible that our consciousness unites with the whole. If we don't travel to other places, perhaps we become a part of all the consciousness that has come before, adding our experience of the universe to the Universal Consiousness, and increasing it's awareness of it's self.

I've always felt, to one degree or another, that the reason we are gifted with consciousness is to witness the beauty of the universe, and to add to it if we can.

When we change states of consciousness by "dying" maybe we bring our experience of existence with us back to the source, adding to the universal consciousness awareness of it's self.

I strongly suggest reading Eckhart Tolle Eckhart Tolle. His books The Power of Now, A New Earth, and others make the notion of Consiousness quite accessible, and have the power to change the way you look at life.
