I'vegot a kick ass plot picked out on my pals land the only prob is its about 100 feet from a set of high voltage power lines. I know the power comp. flies there lines to check for trees and interferances. what do you think I'm in nor cal so people are pretty loose when it comes to growing and I'm legal. should I hit it planning a 30x30 plot fenced in of course w/ 20 or so lovely ladies:weed:

You would prob. be ok as long as the chopper pilot doesn't smoke because those lovely ladies will be gone. Second I'd make sure it's not federal land, it's legal in CA but not the US.

CA is part of the US. Federal laws always superceeds states rights. 100 feet from the lines should be ok. LST would help, but might not be practical for you.

BUt they shouldnt.
If your legal....why are you trying to make it sketchy??

It's not worth it . No matter how tempting it is. Imagine all that hard work just to lose it all to some tree trimmers . A buddy of mine made the same mistake after I warned him several times.

the area is not directly under the lines its acouple hundred feet away. It is on my friends land where hes in charge of the mowing and line are like 60 feet up so they dont do any tree trimming in the area. I justk now come august they will stick out like a green thumb in all the dry grass, if they are to fly by in a chopper checking there power lines

I concur with 'GOODoleBoy' when he talks about how your putting your friends land at risk.. and stuff.

He also suggests to you that maybe you should grow on your own land.. or maybe indoors.

If you can.. dude.. I would grow indoors. Because believe it or not.. it's actually easier to grow indoors.. than outdoors.

Plus.. with growing indoors.. you get to control the plants environment.. instead of having to count on 'Mother Nature' to give the plant what it needs.

I would recommend (if you can).. I would recommend you maybe trying it indoors. Much easier..

Good luck man.

there is no law that says you have to grow where you live If my paper work is posted than everyone is in the clear.
Haven't you been keeping up with the news? If the feds get the plot you can and will be prosecuted. The cops will more than likely rip it.

Yes, paperwork will protect you somewhat but not completely.

Chances are your plot will get ripped by some kids...

do the grow, just smaller for the first time. 20 plants is going to be a ton of work to lose if something goes down. Feds tend to leave the small growers alone, not that 20 is huge.

I haven't seen much in the news around here, I'm in northern Ca. and it seems to me the law is getting more and more relaxed in this area. maybe I'll have to spread it out more instead of doing 20 all together I'll do 5or6 here and there. Would you recommend that? I thought all i one would make it easier to water and fence in.
