Hey green how long you think before you have everything completed? cant wait to see what you produce.[Hopefully by Wednesday or Thursday. I will be installing the charcol filter fan and ducting and then monitor my inside temperature, right now the temp 1s 100 without then hood being vented, worse case senerio I will add a small external a/c unit/QUOTE]

Hey Green did you get those temps down?

Green I'm not an expert on this matter but have done a little research on it. Bro, your 600w light is WAY WAY too much power for that area. I have a similar sized area and at first I tried running a 400w light in the space and even that was too hot. Granted it wasn't air cooled. So I bought some 150w set ups and am going to try one to start out and if need be, I'll add the other one. Your area is slightly bigger then what I'm working with so I think maybe a 250w light would work fine for you. As far as the whole mylar thing goes...just cut some pieces a little bit smaller than your walls and staple it to them. Thats what I did and it seems to work perfect. The mylar stays flush with my walls and isn't loose. I like your concept but I think you should of dedicated a small space to a veg area. Even if you only have a veg space for 1 or 2 plants, its better than nothing.

Well I'm air cooled and in a larger space, just put some 18in. Veg' in last night to flower. High temp is 81 and cool is around 68, so if I were you I would invest in the cooling/ducting/fans and then you will be able to have a nice bright light with no heat.
Trust me I'm a newbie but have some cashola and a serious obsession with making this cabinet be working at its fullist, and one more thing "Ling Duck Daoui":weed:

Proper ventilation is crucial.
I've got a 400w crammed in less than 10 cu ft.

If I could find a hood for a reasonable price I'd have an air cooled area. Until I do, I'll rough it and use a smaller wattaged light.

Now hows the progress on your cloning chamber.
Doesnt look like you have completed it yet.
You should almost fill up that Humidity dome with little girls.
And an idea for you.
The area where you have the fan sitting.
What would it take to isolate that and use it for a mother chamber?

hey man i like the idea and i have made a box before but im just letting you know , no mater how much cash you throw at it and time and effort it will never be efficient. why the box? you probably wanted to be stealth (or else you should have gotten a tent) but if your having to do that heavy duty cooling on the 600W it is in no way stealth unless you have that fan quite as can be. also do you have a good supply of fresh air?
