yeah the ganeshes are flourishing. i don't know if this is just genetics of the ganesh or some sort of early deficiency, but under all the leaves of the ganesh they have a very vivid purple underside. it looks really trippy, I will snap some pics tomorrow when I post the new update.

Plants are doing well.

Gave all three of them a very small feeding yesterday, and they seemed to like it.

first one is the hashplant haze. you can really see its sativa traits.

second is G1, the first ganesh to sprout. as you can see from the 3rd pic it has a lot of purple on the underside of the leaves.

the last pic is of g2. she has a little purple under her leaves but not as vibrant as g1.

next update should be on christmas night.

ok so things are looking good, gave the 3 another small feeding, so thats 2 feedings this week, 1 on monday and 1 today.

still doing 24hr light cycle.

edit: nutes i used are 24-8-16 miracle grow

pic 1 and 2 are of G1

pic 3 and 4 are of the hashplant haze

pic 5 and 6 are of G2

anyone know why there is yellowing and twisting/weird spaced leaves on G2? it's been giving the same things as the other ones and they seem to be doing fine.

merry christmas again and happy toking! :joint:

checked out the root system of my babies and the bottom roots were very thick.

so i tapped them out of the cups and added 3 inches of worm castings to the bottoms of the cups and some more castings to the top of the soil.

possibly next friday i am going to transplant them into bigger pots.

ive noticed 7 finger leaves on all 3 plants and usually when i see those i get females.

the yellowing of the 2 lower fan leaves on G2 have begun to clear up.

i think what was wrong is that i over fert'd them; mandala's website states that their plants are very sensitive to nutes.

ok, i transplanted all 3 of my babies into 2 liter bottles and covered it with duct tape so light doesnt get in there.

i had some nute burning happen to the ganeshes so i did a flush and i am hoping to see them bounce back asap.

first 2 pics are of the hph. she is thriving, lots of growth, tight spacing, and i am getting ready to top her probably by the end of the week

pic 3+4 are of G2 as you can see she has some nute burned leaves and growth is stunted a bit.

pic 5+6 are of G1, shes a lil more affected by the burn than G2

i will probably wait 1-2 weeks before i top the ganeshes. i want to get the nute burn problems outta the way and wait until it gets a lil bit taller.

the transplant soil was 50% scott's premium soil, 25% MG perlite with npk of .04-.01-.06, and 25% worm castings.

edit: all the purpling that was occurring in the beginning week is gone. i guess it must of been just seedling genetics.

Even with the nute burn your plants are still looking happy , once you top them about a week you will see it growing fairly steadily happy growing

all 3 of em are loving their new and bigger pots.

i had 1 day of stunted growth on the 2 ganesh due to nute burn. i flushed them on wednesday and they are booming with growth.

i performed my first "fim" on the hph just to see how it turned out. 2 days later (today) she now has the beginning of 4 tops.

i took the clone off the lowest node of the hashplant haze and it didn't seem to bother her at all.

once i see the next set of new leaf tips pop out of the smaller ones on the ganesh i might fim those too.

pic 1+2 are of g1

pic 3+4 are of g2

pic 5+6 are of the hph

happy growing all :leaf:

yo, a couple things!!

Miracle grow will burn your plants now and even worse later. U will get through your run but your gonna stress the shit out of your plants which leads to less yield and more chance of hermies. RIU is great but I just read all 6 pages with no one giving you any pointers on your hiccups and to me thats kind of rough.

NO MIRACLE GROW the initial burn is just the beggining its setup so it constanty is going to feed your plants more and more and more through the cycle even without feeding it again. FLUSH FLUSH FLUSH FLUSH you are so much better off buying some compost mix from a garden store or making a organic TEA for you girls. I would have waited 3 1/2 weeks to even start feeding them at a 1/4 strength. A lot more info if your interested I dont wanna jump in here and act like a donkey so if your interested PM me!

edit: oh yeah check your PM I sent you one!! I forgot one other thing that purple under your leaves is a deficiency early purpling is a nute deficiency check your PM there is some great advice to get this going on track!!

work2fish: thank you for the advice.

i did do a flush soon after i noticed the burn. the purpling was actually caused by the over ferting because mandala strains need little to no feedings throughout their whole life.

my hashplant haze hasn't burned yet and its been getting a regular feeding and bursting with growth.

ive been using miracle grow/fertilome nutes for a couple grows and ganesh was the first strain to be negatively affected by it.

i know its not the best nutes but where i live the closest grow shop is about 6 hours north of me or else i would do all organic. my only resources right now are walmart/home depot/lowes.

i appreciate your concern and if you notice any other problems or can throw some pointers my way it would be greatly appreciated.

thank you and happy growing!:joint:

so far everything is getting better.
the 2 ganesh are definitely over their horrible burn. i also fimmed both of them last saturday and they both have the beginning of 4 tops now.

the hph is still growing steadily, has 4 tops but more developed. i fimmed a lower shoot of the hph as well and its beginning to show 4 tops.

the clone is still perky and green, beginning to show a little yellowing at the tips of the leaves which might be due to a high ph of the water it's in. had to substitute tap water un-ph'd but evaporated of all minerals because i ran out of distilled water.

sometime this week i am going to try a paper towel cloning method i learned on RIU, (i'll provide the link once i can find it again), on both the ganesh.

pic 1 is a top view of the hph
pic 2 is a side view of hph you can kinda see the 4 tops in this one.

pic 3 is of g2 the late sprouter
pic 4 is the top of g2 you can start to see the 2 new tops

pic 5 is the top of g1
pic 6 is the side of g1

and finally pic 7 is of the clone, no roots yet :-?

g1 has more burn damage than g2 but all the new growth is nice and green.

i replaced my diy co2 bottle with a fresh batch and added a saucer of water for humidity.

i took out the 50w hps because i needed it for lower branches on some females i have in my flowering room.

thanks for looking and happy growing!

nice, following this grow cuz I have a hash plant haze that sprouted 2 days ago from dna and want to see the flowers!

do you have a dome over your clone? a raised dome sprayed daily does wonders and will help it root a lot quicker.
