How do you clean your glass [without loads of chemicals]

I've always just used the highest concentration of alcohol I can get. Usually, that is 90%. I used to be able to find 100% ethanol, but it is harder unless you are going to chemist supply or something.

The higher the concentration, the better it will clean the resin and gunk right off. It's really amazing really.

Then I just use a small wire brush to get up in there to wipe it off. If you can't get to spots, use salt or something that will brush it when it shake it around. Just a little friction doest the trick if you have enough alcohol on it.

I don't consider simple alcohol as a lot of chemicals. You can get it at drugstores and works great. Then just rinse with water and you're good to go.

I have found that ethanol works better than rubbing alcohol, but it's really more dependent on the concentration. The 70% doesn't work nearly as well as the 90%, higher is even better if you can find it.

100% will literally clean it right off just by pouring it on it and shaking a little.

I'm gonna try rubbing alcohol will prob just leave it in a bowl of it for ages
I use regular rubbing alchohol. Just put it in a decent size ziplock bag and fill it enough to cover the glass.

I let mine sit until the liquid turns nice and brown from cleaning all the gunk out. Usually takes like 6-12 hours depending on how dirty it is.

I like to let it sit in water afterwards for a couple of hours to wash out any leftover alchohol taste. This method works very well. If anyone knows of something better I would love to learn something new.

Well I smoke the resin out the pipe when I run out of herb. Yes I`m poor

I boil water, let it cool down a bit. Then let the pipe soak in the water for awhile. Take it and use a wire brush or a paperclip to scrape it clean.

^yup 90% or higher alcohol and the most corse salt you can find, like kosher salt. Just give it a few shakes and everything is ripped off almost instantly. Works wonders, Just make sure to rinse it a few times with water to get the alcohol smell out.

places like walgreens has 91% alcohol for like a dollar. I think there is medical grade ISO alcohol which is like 98 or 99% but im not sure how to get that.

salt scraches glass and will make even harder to clean over time. Remember glass is just a thick liquid.

the crushed shell works great and you can reuse it. So you don't have to keep crushing shells.
