Looking for a high yield strain with a short flowering period

You're probably thinking, aren't we all?

Here's what I'm looking for:
Above all else:
- High yield

- The shorter the flowering period the better.
- Short / medium in height (indica probably?)
- Could be topped (more lateral growth than vertical is the idea)
- Resilient (Isn't going to die if the temp randomly drops 10 degrees)
- A smooth smoke. Fruity is cool. Nothing harsh please. :joint:
- Easily cloned.
- Likes growing outside too.

- And lastly, I have about $50 so spend.

I know that's quite a criteria but I have faith in you RIU! Let's see what you can come up with!

Thanks. :weed:

Cool, thanks for the response. Do you have any specific recommendations for a seed bank?

Product Information

Manufacturer Seedsman Genetics Afghani/Skunk No. 1/Haze Pack Size 10 Seeds Variety Mostly Indica Feminised Regular (not feminised) THC Content Unknown - High Grows Greenhouse, Grows indoors, Grows outdoors Flowering Time 6-7 Weeks Harvest Month Mid-Late September
Product Description

The genetics of Northern Lights is one of the most confused of all existing cannabis seeds strains because there is no one who can take entire credit for its creation. Northern Lights was developed as an indoor cannabisseed strain in the late 1970s near Seattle in Washington, although the genetics involved in the cross were known to have come from California - the original home of a great many of the most famous cannabis seeds strains. It was initially a stabilised cannabis sativa strain crossed with an Afghani indica hybrid. Northern Lights travelled to Holland as a clone where it was introduced to the commercial cannabis seed market in 1985 by The Seed Bank. Because it arrived as a clone it could not be inbred for stability and cannabis seed production, therefore Skunk No 1 and Original Haze were used to produce seeds off it so it could be used as a parent plant. Northern Lights distinctly shows its Afghani indica genetic background; it is a small plant that produces, big highly resinous flowers. Although it was initially developed for indoor growers excellent results have been produced outside.Northern Lights has a sweet resinous taste and produces a physical comfortable but lazy feeling, known to some as ‘couch lock’.

Thanks for the suggestion and product info.

That seems like a pretty good strain. Can't go wrong with northern lights.
I noticed that there aren't any specific yield statistics there though. Can you give me some kind of idea about yield? Obviously this is a subjective question... I'll be growing indoors until spring.

It's a reasonable yielder, its hard to give any kind of specifics, but with reasonable skill, you should really expect no less than 2 oz per plant with 30 days of veg

If you want yeild Critical Mass is what you want, it's a medium height plant and is resistent to mold and disease, and done in 8-9 weeks

i am growing Nirvanas ak-48 which is meant to flower in 8 weeks and is heavy indica , my clones took 100% ive given them no form of nutes or pestisides and there very healthy grown in soil, i have seen impressive journals with big yeiilds from this strain .... worth a look =)

Growing some NL now, I mix it in for the yield. I've yielded 2 ounces or so of cured bud per plant from that strain. Excellent smoke, but not for "personal stash". I prefer the lower yielding/higher quality smoke for my own. This strain of Bubbalicous I have is flippin nasty. Dutch Passion seeds all the way.

Nirvana AK-48, alright. Another option. I might be doing an organic grow so it's good to know that I don't have to pump them with chemicals to see decent yields.

Yeah, just need a cash crop that will fund my other, more tasteful strains.
