what is the lowest odor auto flower strain

i have seen many different vague posts on this question. although most people grow auto flowering strains for stealth, i have yet to see anything informative. could i please get some members with some experience on this issue to join in and bring some light into the darkness. so people, what is the lowest odor af strain that you have grown ? af plants are great for certain people so please spread the knowledge

i have grown 2 different af strains #1 was the original LR which in my opinion was not worth the effort. the second strain was the diesel ryder and whoo those plants brought me alot of joy lol. i recently have changed my living situation so i am now looking for a decent yielding low odor af. any insight would be greatly appreciated. hopefuly this thread can expand ppls knowledge on af's and also expand our yields lol

I'm about 45 days from seed growing Afghan Kush Ryder and the odor isn't noticeable at all. I've also got a easyryder (AK47xlowryder) same age that stinks pretty bad but I can tell it will yield some impressive smoke. I've got pics in my sig if you're interested...

looking pretty damn good ! ive done a little research on the easy ryder and its suppose to be a decent yielding af but like you said it does come with a pretty serious odor in most cases. havent checked out the a.k.r. but im on my way to do so. until i recently moved ive mainly been a guerilla grower but now i have to rethink my whole method of operation. this yr outdoors i put out some himilayan gold (real nice yield and good smoke), lemon skunk (yield wasnt great but not bad and the smoke was a+) also i got a free pack of thai super skunk and to my surprise despite some reports i read about the strain it was pretty dank itself. for some reason the tss had the lowest odor of all three. ive gotten off topic..sorry ! neways i will be doing a cabinet grow similar to yours. the problem is that my indoor growing knowledge is limited. i have grown a few plants in a flood n drain system but thats it. do you think that a good carbon filter or nething like that would eliminate the odor of some auto ak47 in a cabinet ? ive seen some ppl induce flowering early in non af strains. how many months start 2 finish would it take to yield around an oz per plant with that method ? maybe i could get a low odor strain and just induce flowering early but thats only if i cant get a af thats low odor and is capable of a oz per plant or find a way to deal with the odor b/c im sure u can tell odor is definitley a problem with my situation. thanks for responding and any info would be greatly appreciated. peace !

My DIY carbon filter eliminates all the odor of all my flowering ladies. I live in an apartment with a shared hallway so odor is a concern but you can't smell a thing outside the cabinet.

There isn't much time savings between a normal strain vegged for 5 weeks then flowered and an autoflower strain...probably about two weeks. The yield per plant is dependent on so many variables (lighting, pot size, genetics, nutes, etc) that it is impossible to give you an answer.

hey bro i appreciate all the help. sometimes its hard to get that certain piece of info your lookin for. ok so here is my plan. im stripping the inside of a old big screen tv and painting the screen on the inside to prevent light from coming out and also covering any other spots where light could come out. i already have a diy aeroponics system that will fit in there nicely with plenty of space between where the plants will b and the light. its 4ft tall inside. do you think a carbon filter will work even though my cabinet isnt as sealed as yours ? i will be doing some research on some good nutes for af. i have a 250w hps w/ cooling tube. any suggestions on hoy many af's i should do with that setup ? do you know if lr2's odor is worse than the ak's ? sorry if im buggin ya to death but i have done alot of reading about this and i get different opinions every site i go to

You're going to want to have it sealed as best as possible if you want to keep the smell in. If this is a major concern, maybe it makes more sense to scrap the TV and pick up a wardrobe cabinet from a thrift store that you can seal and lock better. The amount of plants really is going to depend on how many pots you can find under the lights. It is a good idea to use a 1-3 gallon pot for autoflowers, so factor that size in and you can figure out how many plants will work for your space. This is my first grow and the only autoflowers I have experience with, so I couldn't tell you about relative odors. All I can tell you is the Easyryder is the stinkiest plant and the Afghan Kush Ryder is the least stinky plant out of all my flowering plants.

I am growing road runner. The smell is fairly potent however. But it is the best smelling plant I have ever had. Like fruit!!!!!!! I am way surprised at this freebie

hey sick, i definitely gotta stick with the tv. believe me i know its not as good as a cabinet but i somtimes have inlaws stay and one has been known to snoop so i figured there couldnt be much snoopin she could do with a tv. im just gonna say that a buddy gave it to me and im keeping it around til i can fix it but i will seal that thing up properly and completely. as far as the number of plants i was curious if u had any idea how many plants a 250w hps could make grow to their full yield potential. i'll be keeping up with your grow to c how the Afghan Kush Ryder comes out as far as yield. u got my attention !

I recently grew out LowLife's Auto White Russian (Moscow). Very low odor throughout the grow, great high too, very sativa.:joint:

hey TT, thanks for the input. over the summer i grew some thai super skunk from g13 labs which were freebies and despite some negative reports i read about em they were pretty damn dank. do u anything to help with the odor ?

Well my auto AK'S from lowlife,outdoor,STUNK,and i mean that seriously,they reeked of high quality pot!!!,probably why the got stolen(didnt take them inside then,learned from mistakes,its a big reason why im indoor now)

well yeh,they reeked like hell,and my indoor ak's at the mo smell very fruity,my roadrunner didnt smell much,and well,the easyryders dont smell at all to me,a bit like thai if im honest,but damn,they are HUGE for autoflower's,i seriously scooting for over 2.5 ounces on one of my easyryders(i hope,ill get pics!) if the next 4 weeks go well,shes huge,tons of buds and the main cola is a fatty,

the other easy is the same but slightly smaller,and i regreat topping the third easy as it has 2 puny little top buds

the non topped ones look much much better

1 thing i will say is,my auto ak's grew way way way better outside than in,they were so much healthier and stockier and more damn buddy than these indoor ones

thanks for the info. ive been hearing alot of good things about the easy ryder. how many do you have and what kind of light are you using ?

finally a thread about auto's...........man no one ever talks about 'em, I have been trying to find out more about them, I'm looking to grow some, cause I do a closet grow and can only fit 6 medium sized plants in 5 gallon buckets and just wanna do a sea of green instead and have a bunch of colas, so far I hear Low Ryder 2 and Easy Ryder are the best yeilders

ive got atm,4 auto aks and 3 easyryders,for sure,the easy ryders are going to yield more than twice as much as any auto ive seen before,they're twice as pic

all under a 600w phillips HPS

good shit guys. i got 2 tents goin with 24 autos in 3 gallon bags/pots in each. i have lowlife ak fems and blueryders flowerin in each tent under 1200 watts a piece. the tents are in two diff locations too. the lowlife auto ak has a great smell an so does the blue. will have to wait for smoke report to tell diff since they are in same tent. i also have hindu lowlife, dieselryder, and easyrider at 2.5 weeks in the tents as well. im lookin forward to the diesel ryder an hindu the most tho. but if the auto ak from lowlife an easyrider from jd are potent, i will order more fem seeds. i am lookin for quality as well as good weight from the autos thats y im doin a sog. usin biobizz line with purple maxx from humbolt for nutes
