Strain: Burmese Kush
Breeder: T H Seeds
Growth: Slow to start in veg but once it gets going its pretty quick, once you flip 12/12 is when the real growth starts, she shoots up nice size colas
Nutes: Organic Nutrients Mix of Bat guano's the BMO line and Natures Nectar Potassium. She is a nutrient hog, start nutrients right at 3 weeks introduce at half strength then move to full strength or she will start to yellow. Keep using veg nutrient till about week 4-5 of flower or you will run into crispy leaves at week 8 and about no leaves at week 10 if you discontinue the veg nutrients to early.
Yield: 70 grams
Bag Appeal: Ummm I don't sell but I'd say 8/10
Smell: very skunky musky, almost like a musty skunky mildew.
Taste: very minty piney
The High: Very indica high it kinda starts in the head and then very quickly moves to body high and then your out. The past week I think I've woken up at 4am with all my clothes still on including hoddie holding a drink above the covers passed out. Haha when you do fall asleep its like a come almost (is what my friend described it as). Very good weed for sleep problems.
Comments: I chopped two weeks early (ten weeks) due to smell and family coming into town (which was unplanned). The breeder rated her at 7 1/2 weeks flowering time. At 10 weeks she still wasn't done. I'm not quite sure if this was due to the slight burn or she just doesn't finish in 8 weeks. I took a clone of the same plant and she is about to go into flowering. I'm planning on buying two new carbon filters for this grow to keep the smell locked down. I want to take her to 12 weeks, she was just starting to turn purple for me at the end of 10 weeks. I'm gonna try my hardest to turn the clone purple this next grow. For the journal hit up my signature. I'll post some pics as well of the grow.

I cut at day 70 sadly I didn't take any further pics. There wasn't much more bud growth done in that 5 days mostly pistils browning. Well I hope this has been a decent read. I'll post pics up of the dried/cured smoke i a couple days.

Hey man any updates??

Not yet hit up the journal for the clones journey to smoke.

Very interested in the BuKu, have seeds and haven't started them yet
Its a great plant to grow the experience is great. Let them seeds hit the dirt.

def doesnt look like the pics they give you before you buy huh
No it doesn't and deffinately didn't live up to the 7 1/2 weeks flower time. I'm willing to bet though that T H Seeds grew all their stuff in hydro. Probably why the flower time was off.

very nice report, +rep
Thanks bro, I'll have a better one next harvest when I have the full ripe buds, this was the first run with this strain. I like her just wish the flower time was a bit shorter but ay ya win some ya lose some ya hear?

this matches up with my limited experience pretty well
grew out a nl#5 from highgrade-seeds, breeder gives 8 weeks as the flower
i flowered for 11 weeks, and even then it was just a touch amber
but i cloned her, so next time i'll go the distance

In my opinion this strain isn't genetically stable. I started seeds purchased from THSeeds and every start looked completely different. Seriously. None of the plants look remotely the same. All are on the same nutrient regimen and all environmental conditions are identical, same medium water nutes etc..etc.
I have had to boost K on one plant because it showed signs of deficiency but overall they have been healthy plants. One start showed signs of poor genetics, and a lack of vigor. I will be culling that variant from the garden after this cycle. They are just going into flowering now, and all are looking great, but they still don't look alike at all. Huge variance in internode spacing, plant robustness, and in that one case nutrient consumption. They all seem to be mild to moderately K hungry. I have a friend who grows this strain and he has noticed this too. I've taken clones and will continue to grow this strain but I am going to pick the variants with the best phenotypes and cull the rest from the garden.

I'm a little disappointed with THSeeds.. I have grown HUGE grows of S.A.G.E. in the past with no unexpected genetic variation from seed starts and all I can really say is that this strain may have been rushed to market before it was properly bred back with itself and stabilized. I'm bummed that it's not finishing for you in 7 1/2 weeks.. That was a big selling point for me..

My Buku is in Veg right now. 24 hours the beans popped. I bought this strain because of the quick flower time. Good info

My buku is 56 days in and im ready to chop looking good nice frosty colas looking at about 3 ozs per plant.
My Buku is 28 days into flower at about day 20 in flower she starts to pack on weight. Slow at first but after 20 days in bloom she starts packing on serious weight.

your lucky, i know of two other growers, besides myself, that have had either a 100% batch of males or hermies pop out of buku, th seeds.
nice cola tho, but after experiencing what i did, i wouldnt pimp this strain or breeder....
