homemade ph down?

it seems that lemon juice causes a yellow foam to appear on the top of my water
is that normal or going to ruin my roots

and Baking Soda for UP works too.

Takes a bit of time to disolve and read right on a ph meter and I wouldn't use to much as it really increases the PPM and will cause salt induced nute lockout in some cases

Vinegar works great.
Thanks... learned something today... the bottled lemon juice has been working for me... but I'll try vinegar next time... I think that bottled lemon juice attracted drain flies to my babies :(

Pick up some PH down... its 10 bucks and worry free. You don't want to guess when it comes to PH. And you don't want it jumping up and down.
