I got hooked up with a 4 oz bottle of Promethazine w/ Codeine prescription cough syrup for free this weekend and i'm gonna try it out for the first time today and I wanted to see what RIU thought. It contains 6.25mg/5mL of Promethazine (Phenergan) and 10mg/5mL of Codeine.

I am planning on putting about 2 ounces of the syrup into a cup with about 12 ounces of Sprite and a grape Jolly Rancher for novelty. Is this the traditional way of doing it? To be honest I couldn't find much about it on the internet, save for a few DIY Syrup recipes with dumbass wannabe gangsters that are gonna end up killing themselves. I watched one video where a guy mixed 4 oz of the Prometh/Codeine with a Red Bull, a fentanyl sucker, what looks like a 5/500 Vicodin and about three shots of Don Julio Anejo (Note: All you real tequila lovers out there will agree that this is blatant and shameful use of such a high quality tequila - at least use the silver...).

Anyway let me know your recipes for lean, maybe share a good/bad experience you had with the stuff, fuck it you can flame me too if you feel like it. Any feedback is appreciated!

Just mix in all the purp into a cup after you pour sprite into the cut, add a few ice cubes and have a blast.

I would also recommend smoking it, either let a nug soak in it overnight or roll up a sweet and suck the lean like juice through a straw.

if you get that str8 candy purple or red from Actavis ill pour a 4 into a liter of sprite...if it that strawberry ill throw that bitch in
stawberry fanta...if u get that hi-tek red then u mix that shit with some big red...shout outs to my sippaz in the lone star state

Poppy tea is far better buzz imo. And cheaper.

And I don't understand why people mix syrup.
It's flavored. Drink it strait.

high grade cough syrup from mfg. Actavis..this brand has the best tasting syrup...they make that purple(peach-mint) and red(strawberry)
codeine with prometh aswell as prometh by it self..thats orange(tangerine)...next mfg. is Hi-Tek they make red codeine with promethazine(boysenberry)
they also make promethazine by it self and thats green(green apple)...this info is for ppl interested in syrup and to let u know the best tasting kind..
one more that i seen hit the streets recently is another purple syrup mfg. by M.G.P. Miller Grove Pharm. and its bubblegum flavor...this shit taste fuckin good
only its not as potent as the Actavis...one type of syrup u dont want to get your hands on is mfg. by Qualitest...this syrup here taste like str8 medacine nothing
sweet about this one..drank prices have gone thru the roof these last 2 years...i know ppl in houston paying 80 an ounce...its harder to get out there...but in deep south texas u will pay 35 a duce for that hi-tek and 50 for that actavis...if u think syrup is a stupid [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]opiate what the fuck u doing in this thread...get the fuck out and go grow ur poppies bitch...im out.....to my true drank heads keep sippin smart[/FONT]

Poppy tea is much better buzz than syrup. No reason to get defensive. The reason it was bought up in this thread was to let folks that like opiates know that there is a cheaper better buzz. 80$ an ounce is high price when you get a few thousand poppy seeds online for less than ten bucks. You can even get the pods online for about 12$ per dozen.
3 pods for a good buzz.
Thats 4$ for a high that is similar but more enjoyable(subjective) than a syrup high.

I like syrup but I like poppy tea much more.
