Very simply making hash is the removing of the trichome-heads/resins heads from plant matter and condensing it into another form.
　
You do not want to grind leaves or do anything overly abusive to them beyond cutting them up into workable sizes. You want to remove, gather and condense as many complete trichome-head/resin-heads as possible. Even just cutting the leaves and the using of a mixer in bubble hash will break some trichome-heads/resin-heads so there is some loss there but if you actually grind them you are likely to break many heads.
　
What happens then, making bubble hash, is you end up with a large volume of hash from the finest micron screen but it will not be as good as the has from the slightly larger screen in the bag before because the last screen will catch all the broken trichome-heads/resin-heads.
　
So I would say no to any grinding of any sort.
