Here's a shot of what i've got under my 150 right now.
Bubblicious at week 6 flower(4 weeks left, approximately):

Bubblicious week 5 flower(5 weeks left):

Bubblicous day 11 flower:

I'm adjusting my feeding schedule as needed for the plants(I'm using the lucas formula). The latter two are in smaller containers, and seem to need nutrients more often. The first one is in a much larger container, and the larger reservoir seems to be too much for that plant's size. The extremely dark green of the leaves and the lack of yellowing this far in to flowering leads me to believe that it's getting too much food(the mutant leaves are from stress she received in veg. She never fully recovered).

hey guys i have a question.
I been flowering about 1 week now, i was actually forced to transplant because i was rootbound now i finally got them in their 2.5 gallon hempy. My question is how long do i just water until roots hit resevoir again? its been a week exactly since i transplanted did it right when switching over 12/12.
Thanks you guys:leaf:

I would say if its been a week, you would be okay to start at 1/4 dose nutes.

I would add 1/4 strength nutes, then only water next time. Untill you make sure it is not harming the plant.

Here's a couple pics of my op from today. 22 5 gallon hempies in veg and 15 blooming, end of week 7.

Always make sure you have plenty of veggies!

The more you grow, the more you know.:-P

Oh yeah, and an observation I'd like to make about perlite.

I've used two grades, one kind of fine, typical of what you would use to amend potting soil. The other is Fox Farm Big n. Chunky. The FF costs about 30 percent more and the grain size is quite large, like a kidney bean as opposed to pea-size or smaller for the generic stuff. It has the advantage of being more readily reused as you can disentangle the root matter from it more easily. BUT. If you are growing large plants with serious bud weight, the large stuff tends to allow the root ball to shift and your main stems start tilting off balance, making the whole plant vulnerable to damage or breaking when you are working with them. This is definitely not a problem with the finer grade stuff; it's very supportive. Other than that, I don't see any differences in terms of plant growth rates, health, water consumption or any other issue. I hope this information proves useful to those considering this method.

I have thought about using the FF Perlite, but the cost deterred me away. I noticed also that the smaller grain is a pain to keep from flowing out the drain hole, if you dont use screens. And i heard the bigger stuff helps with getting more oxygen to the root zone.

I drill multiple small holes close together on my buckets which acts as a built in screen. Nothing comes through but water. My first buckets with large holes I no longer use.

My next harvest will be the first finished in the large stuff. If I am able to reclaim most of it for reuse, I will have offset the greater cost of FF. If I reuse it twice I'm way ahead of the game. I imagine there has to be truth that you get more oxygen in the root zone with the large stuff.

Wierd, im having no trouble at all...
A little flows out when i first flush the whole thing, but then it sort of settles and nothing flows out except water overflow :)

I have noticed even the small grained can shift in my 10l buckets when they get really close to wateringday on the last few weeks..

i usually reuse my perlite, as well. after getting most of the root mass out i just let the perlite and bits of root dry out really well, makes it pretty easy to just sift through to separate the perlite and roots.

Hehe and do not be too lazy.. Get as much as the rootmass out while the perlite and root is still moist..

Once the whole thing dries up there is way too much sifting to do ;)

Waaay easier to just "roll" the rootbulb while its moist than waiting..

(Yes im speaking of bitter experience and no i didn't bother sifting through it all) :-P

haha it's really easier that way? haven't tried that. i'll do that next harvest. i'm glad i'm not the only one who's too cheap to just throw the shit away.
