Best strain for indoor growing

Guys I am looking for the best strain for indoor marijuana growing. I have one 400 watt hps and i am going to grow in a hydroponic wick system. Here is what I would like...

1) The most important thing to me is getting the most bang for my buck. I want to get a high yield but also a very potent one. I know potency depends a lot on who you grow but what is a good strain that is potent and should have a high yield?

Lastly is is worth it to buy feminized seeds? Is it 100% chance that the seeds will be female or more like 85-90?

Well to put it easy there is no such thing as "The Best Indoor Strain". Its all OPINION, in my OPINION nobody can mess with the flavor/potency of OG kush, but the yield isn't anything special. If your looking for yield id go with Grand Daddy Purple. GDP smells bomb, tastes and looks dank and will put most strains to shame on yield.

That pretty well sums it up there. As long as you buy good quality seeds from a reputable dealer you're going to have some monster good bud - if it survives your attempts at growing :) Pick a strain that is easy to grow then learn everything you can about growing.

I think I would have to say Northern Lights. A pure Indica strain that will stay about 4 ft, good yeild and great genetics. Can't go wrong with Northern Lights.

what do you think about white widow and white rhino? is it true white widow is the most potent strain if grown correctly? or is it more like when u get to that quality of bud its kind of splitting hairs in determining the besdt?

Grow the rhino if you want to shuffle around the house like ozzy osburne. Grow the widow if you want to have a life. WW is a very nice, social buzz and yes, it is strong. Easy to grow and clone, some shorter, some taller phenos. Very stanky too, in case this is going to be a stealth grow. And NO, do not get fem seeds. Regular seeds. Get rid of the males as soon as they are positivly identified, number and clone all your females and then pick the pheno type that you liked the best and turn her babies into mommas. Big learning curve when you start to grow weed, but it's quite easy and kinda comes down to how much time, money, research,dedication, did I say research?, and love you put into it. Good luck.
