Would you be nervous? LOL

It's only about a $100-$150 camera (Moultrie) and fortunately they don't come with any remote options. You can buy other aftermarket systems for game cameras though (like the cellular ones that email the pictures to you as they are taken)... but any of those would have been noticed attached to the camera. No need to worry about that at least.

By the way, just thought of something... you said the camera had month old pictures - the battery in those only lasts a week or two (especially in the summer). Whoever put it up has likely already been to the camera at least once already to replace the batteries (and could have looked at/copied the pictures) if that's the case...

Sounds to me like a hunter not cops, however there is never any reason to take a chance on it. I would make sure there are no more then get the fuck out for good.

Yes I would, I think the police placed it there. Probably sends an alert to them when there is motion, I would dispose of it if i were you. Change locations too.

Inmates don't have internet access in jail.:hump:
I found this funny (even lauged) but i'm sure he doesn't... It kinda sucks because when you think about it, he is freaking out because if caught, he's going to jail over some plants! I bet same thing doesn't happen if you try to smuggle 10 pounds of Aloe Vera across the border. Our governments shit is backwards

As previously posted that is a moultrie D-40 or M-40. I am pretty sure the later M40 ,they are very cheap cameras. The batteries last about one month on them and they can hold no bigger than a 2g SD card which is about 2500 pics. If This was a cops camera it would have been in a bear box or similar lock box(you would have to cut tree down to get it). Also The cops would have used some better cameras that use internet access and inferred flashes. No worries just a hunter probably.

the person who put up/owns that camera is gonna be pissed, even if it is a hunter.....next time he goes back your buddy might just find a few bear traps.....the hard way. lmao

i like the idea of goin back with a shitload of people... all masked and hooded. I've gotten so many chases of pigs when i was a kid it aint funny, and wasnt caught once. If u know the area, u probly know it better than the cops, and if u gota run, you'll know where. they wont. Thats in case of an ambush :P but... happy harvest ^.^

What hunter in his right mind would point a motion activated camera directly at a pot patch? Maybe he is hunting for pot growers?

That math doesn't add up. Divide by zero error..

Itt doen't matter if it was a hunter, a land owner, or a LEO. The bottom line is the grow is compromised. Somebody knows its there. Never go back.

yeah, but dude has to be more worried if it was LEO than if it was hunters. As many posted before if it is LEO they prob have camera # 2 or even 3 prob still out there. Hunters... doubtful.. I stumbled accross an 8 man tent not more than 200 yards from my grow... spooked me for a day, but went back and realized it wasn't anything more than high schoolers looking for a party place for a weekend. If it is LEO u have to go back and look for more cams... If it is hunters, they are gonna be pissed about the cam being gone. try this.. take the cam back to where u got it but leave it on the ground. Make it look like it fell off or something during a storm. Who knows who it is... you either bail on it completely or get back out there and find out who had the cam up

if you do this for personal smoke it doesn't sound worth it.. but if it is source of income, it might be worth going out there... just think about it first. What does this plot mean to you, write it down so you can see the pros and cons of each situation. Weigh your options and make a move, or don't. I would doubt LEO has a cam setup for that. They woulda had to follow you in, in which case why not just stop you. How else would they find the patch, dumb luck??? let's face it, our nation doesn't have the money to send cops looking for grows during their shifts. If someone ratted then different story, but police work usually takes over after someone drops the dime. you don't have a major op going on, so doubtful they saw u from the sky... I dunno man.. doesn't seem like LEO''s footprint on this one.
