I do colas that look like inverted 2 liter bottles in less than 1 gallon of dirt. i took me years to perfect this and it can go wrong. Patience pays off.

What have I learned so far. The first is that mj is a very resilient plant. I have not taken as good of care my ladies as I ought to. Newb mistakes, light too close, venting (installed but not correctly at first), not enough inside fans, humidity too high, same for temps.

Well I have solved the aforementioned issues. And through this all I have found some basics to be true for ME.

The Four Basics - WALS

  1. Water
  2. Air
  3. Light
  4. Soil/Medium
I want each of the above to be pure with no impurities.

Water

If the water is 0 ppm then I have lots of room to put known amounts of nutes in. Even with the yearly water report coming out this month the report does not give the EXACT content of MY water. Good reading but ....

RO or filtered water has gotten most of the chlorine and other impurities. I am allergic to chlorine, my eyes get blood red and I itch all over if I go into a pool with chlorine in it. Do I want that for my ladies, NO.

AIR

No contaminents, dust, bugs, pollen, etc. HEPA air filters for tent intake fans. I even have charcol filters for my cooling fan intakes now. At first I had no filters on the cooling fans (lights) and the dust did accumulate on the glass of the reflectors. Which brings us to ...

LIGHTS

How many growers change their bulbs every 2 flips? I do, do you? The lose of lumens is pretty high after 2 months. So what to do with 'em. Supplemental lighting or some other supporting role.
Clean the glass reflectors with every end of grow clean up.

SOIL/MEDIUM

I want to know exactly what is in the nute soup I give my ladies. I use RW mainly but I do have some soil and RW cubes. The soil is Botanicare's Pure Earth and the RW is B'Cuzz's KUBZ.

Those seem to me to be the BASICS. As long as I have them under control my grow goes smoothly. If any of them are out of whack then the whole system gets funky.

Looking good man.....love the concept.....anyone getting in to growing follow WALS and your grow will be successful even if you hit bumps along the way, add in K.I.S.S. and you are guaranteed success.
Would give you some more rep but it says I need to spread it around....noted and saved on my notepad to give you delayed rep :bigjoint:

Fluoride is the hardest to remove.
What are you doing to remove it? I haven't heard that before but then I haven't heard a lot B4 ... lol.

Great job Orzz, really nice and healthy girls. How many days in flowering is this? And could you possibly post a shot of the full op next time? Would really like to see the whole thing. Nice!

I concur.....hey bro how you feeling today?....:joint:
Heya buddy ... been a rough couple/few days. Thanks for asking.

I have been trying to get another rez hooked up to one of my flowering trays. I am feeding 2 trays from one rez now and need the new rez 'cause one tray isn't ready to flush yet and one is.
The new rez ought to get finished up tonight and tomorrow morning.

On another note, the humidifier was raising the temp up just a little too high 88 F. Have taken it out and the temps are back to 78F and the humidity is 50-64%. I would like it to be lower but I am ok with the extra humidity.

Looks like about 3 or 4 days of flushing and one tray will be done. The sativas are taking longer and look about 2 weeks till they are ready.

Peace all and remember ....

Been flushing the tray of purples :leaf: for 5 days now.
Flush = filtered water + Clearex + Molasses

Pre smoke report. :bigjoint: I cut a low branch and cured before I started the flush, fast dried and cured for ~8 days.
A little harsh on the throat.
Nice aroma and aftertaste.
Brain slam couch lock after 3 hits in a pipe. 2 hours later :eyesmoke: :hump: I was watching TV wondering what went on???

I imagine the taste will be better after flushing and a proper dry and cure,

I've never had a single complaint about the health care here... Does your buddy not have insurance or something?
You are lucky. I have insurance and I have gone through most of my savings paying off medical bills. I can't even begin to go into it ... not worth the aggro.

I am glad that your happy with yours GrowTech.

you man-you have some sweet sticky icky in you garden.
keep up the good work...
Thanks grow space.

Sorry about the long absence. I had to do the harvest solo as my helper was unavailable for the last 2 weeks. I had to enlist another person's help just recently. This ebb & flood is so simple yet I still need help with some of the lifting and moving. I am also setting up another tent (XXXL SunHut).

The plants have been harvested and are 2 weeks into cure. I didn't separate the 2 strains so both are mixed together. Purple Erkle and Purple Kush.
:joint:There is a nice aroma when the jars are opened. The smoke is a very tasty grape with no harshness. Very smooth. Very strong indica couch lock body numbing high.

I am very happy with the results.

The Sour Diesel and F13's are starting their final flush today.
