you cant clone single leaves..you have to wait until the side shoots get like 4 inches...they have to have a couple sets of leaves

were talking nodes here....when you have at least two sets of nodes you can take cuttings.....bigger the cutting the better sometimes...a bit to young yet

you have a while yet before you can clone. Clones are taken from the secondary branching, which your plant is just now starting to develop. Where the fan leaf branches off from the main stem, you can see little leaves developing. These leaves will begin to develop just like the main growth is developing right now. I've always been told that you want 4 inches and at least 2 nodes (a node being the joint where the fan leaves branch out from the stem). I'd say wait a month. Those plants don't look to be very far past seedling. Did you germinate a month ago, or put them seeds in dirt a month ago?

Also, just so you know, feminized seeds increase the chance of a female, but does not ensure a female. It is impossible to guarantee a seed will be female. You may already know this, but I was tricked by the claim of feminized seeds, and I wish someone had told me...

Check out youtube. Leaves develop off of the stem. You don't clone the leaf you clone the stem. There is a single main stem (unless you've topped your plant) and other side growth (nodes/stems) grow up from where the fan leaves meat the main stem.

how much more longer do you guys think i have till i can make clones of these babies?

i understand now what your saying about making clones of the stems isntead of clones of leaves. FIMming willl probably help me out having more clones correct? thanks!!

also i dont see how you could clone a plant if it only has 1 main cola then, cuase then there is only 1 main stem correct?

FIMming will give you more clones, but I suggest growing a clone mother first thing to preserve genetics. About the plant with one cola, all that happens when you FIM is you eliminate the primary growth, which is going up, so for the plant to get taller the secondary growth then has to do the work. A plant that hasn't been topped will still develop secondary branching. Most of this info can be learned by simply watching your plants grow. Patience is a virtue.

they are still just a bit to small, wait a couple more weeks. you want at least 4 to 6 inches long on your clones that you cut.
