she might be drinking the water faster then you think, from what i have been noticing lately is that alot of people plants are starting to droop, if the rez if empty for too long, they can get under watered, what you did was fine, i would suggest you take notes on how fast they drink water, when mine where going, it was half a rez a day, so you need this info so you dont leave here there with barely any water to drink

Has anyone gone on Youtube and searched for AG Grow's there some pretty hot videos... but alot of people seem to add LED lights inside the AG Hood and take out the stock AG Lights... I even found a website that sells the LED lights... has anyone seen an actual grow like that.... maybe on one of these threads... just curious... check it out! Just Google That shit if anything...

20/4

Giving your plants some dark time is good for the root growth.

24/0 kind of stresses the plants, they never have any time to rest.
24/0 will NOT steress you plants and they will grow 1/3 faster. Not just jackin you. Lots of us use 24 hr lights for vegging.

During the day, (Lights ON) the plant is collecting and storing light energy, and is using and storing raw materials. The plant is stockpiling raw material, and is charging it’s batteries… it is ALSO using raw materials and using the energy it is collecting. It’s building itself, literally putting itself together.

During the day however, the plant is not as efficient at building itself, as it is at night (lights OFF.) It can build itself, but not as quickly.

While the lights are OFF, the plant is using energy and raw materials to build itself…. the plant is more efficiently using the raw materials that it stored during the day. The plant is better at transporting and assembling the raw materials.

...

Although the plant IS capable of “doing it all” with the lights on, (Collect, store and use energy & raw materials) it does a better job of actually doing the work (using the energy and raw material) while the lights are out. During the dark however, it relies solely on its limited supply of stored energy and stored raw material.

One last thing to remember is the fact that a plant will always strive to maintain a balance between the size of its roots and the size of its canopy (Leaf mass.) The roots must be big enough to supply as much raw materials as the canopy can use, and the canopy must be big enough to provide the energy required to store those raw materials….

...

If the plant is already in balance, the canopy and the roots will grow at the same rate.

If you actually measured them several times daily over several days, you’d notice that they actually DO get bigger at night, but roots and canopy at the same rate, unless either has been trimmed, and as long as the “batteries” hold out.
20/4 is a pretty good compromise.. IMO

Hey can anybody tell me how long to leave the dome on the seedling? That is if the dome should be used at all.

thanx

Also the roots of the two plants with the leaf problems have formed what looks like alge on some of the roots? Is this root rot? Or just alge growing on the roots?

I will try to post pics asap, also i am going to check ph right now.

Heres one. The ph is 6.3.

Oh, and I was thinking about putting my nutrients in a gallon of water and adding to the res as its empties. Does anyone know if this will over-fertilize or have any negative affect on the plant?

thanx

Thats the best way to do it IMO, just have premixed jugs, so your ppm is always the same when the plant drinks it, you just add more of the same shit, same ratios.

A couple of questions. I apologize for not putting up my pictures yet. They will be coming soon.

What is too high for ambient temperature inside of my cab? High so far hit 87 degrees last night.

Also, what should I run the aerogarden on to keep the pump running? I have it set to salad greens right now and i have the airstone installed as well.

Waiting for some germination...
