kush tends to be more dense and the fact that they were flowered under a 1000 watt bulb also means they will be dense so dont worry man, like i said....if you want to know how much you will have then weight it all out and then its gonna be 25-40% of the wet weight. Probably closer to the 40 considering its a kush and the bulb used.

well i can get some afghans and make them turn purple but i was just wondering about that particular strain.
so purple kush and afghan kush would be different strains? i have no idea
you dont have to make it turn purple, it turns purple on its own. it came from mendo area which is pretty notorious for purple kush, the guy called it afghan kush
i think we are talking about the same strain

well all you gotta do is make it cold and just about any plant will turn purple. I understand what you are saying but purp kush is a clone only strain now and since i dont live in cali or anywhere where pot is legal in some fashion i cant get my hands on it.
yeah thats what the guy said it was clone only, but he had some older moms that he cut his clones from and they popped some seeds. you know how a plant will pollinate itself after it has been going for a while. ive had a few strains do that on me before. i have 3 moms going from the seeds and several flowering

Hey.. so i went away for 4 days and the bud over-dried a bit! fuck. Looks amazing though and the kush smell is dank as fuck. Heres the final dried and jarred, ill have the exact weight up within the hour. Successful first grow!!

looks like the middle sized one is a quart jar and the small ones a half pint but i may be mistaken

The final wieght of my show, (unfortunatly i dried way too much, i can hardly fit a half P into the bag) was 1 pound 70 grams, just over 2 ounces.
I dried it only for 4 days while i was gone, in a very well vented room, perhaps too well circulated. i had 2 fans running, one oscillating and one powerful outake. when i got back humidity was down to 25 -_-

man i was fucking trippin when i first read that because somehow i missed the part about the pound and only saw the 70 grams and i was like what the fuck???? that shit couldnt have dried that damn much, but anyways nice job and enjoy

If its like sooo dry to the point where it just crumbles, throw a few orange peels in the jars. But dont keep them in there for too long or they will get moldy
. Also if you have any fresh leaves from a cannabis plant, one big fan leaf will do the trick. The orange peels worked for me when I overdried my first harvest. Plus it adds a great citrus smell!

That looks like u did a great job buddy, I love purple kush, I got purple kush and purple pineapple kush along with headband going under 2 1000 watters and just pulled 1.4 lbs off one light, about to harvest the other light.. in 2 4x4 trays I do 25 plants per tray in 3 gallon pots

Dont let them get so dry that the stems snap!!!!!! they should be nice n crispy to the touch but the stems should still bend without breaking...then into the jars.. open once a day for about a hour for 3-5 days and ur golden.
