getting my plant to grow faster

If their in good soil getting the proper amount of light and proper amounts of waterand good nutes. Then don't expect to be able to throw a bunch of chemicals into your plant and have it grow faster. Give it the proper amount of everything and let it grow at its own pace.
Trying to over chemical it will just result in a unhealthy plant.

agreed, just play the waiting game and things will turn out for the better

You top your plant if you want it to bush out. Take a razor blade and make a clean cut about half an inch from the top of your plant. this will stop vertical growth and cause your plant to bush out

This is roughly true, but remember that topping adds a week or two on the needed veg period incurred by trauma

good point... ive never seen growth delayed by 2 weeks though.

i dont top for this reason

training adds no time. pruning can help. genetics also play a large factor

you probably have a sativa

yeha play the waiting game, my plants started out sooo slow I swear they stayed under 3 inches for 3 weeks, then I transplanted them to my grow spot and they just EXPLODED. Look at my island outdoor grow thread.

I know this does not have to do with the topic, but ive been growing my plants for almost 2 weeks now n i was just wondering how much longer before it begins to flower.

that really depends man, if your doing outdoor, flowering will start when the days start getting shorter, such as fall. but if your doing indoor, you've got to change the amount of light its getting. such as 12 on 12 off

if you want your plant to grow faster then when your plant gets to the budding stage you should use EM-1

Along with the proper amount of high nitrogen fertilizer diluted accordingly to how big your plant is, i hear nothing but good reviews of molasses diluted 1-2 tbs per gallon of water, it is making simple sugars readily available to the plant. They already use they sugars in the growth process just the fact that they don't have to make as much means they can put more energy into growth. Though you hear of molasses mostly for the bloom stage I believe it would work for all stages just in the fact that it is aiding the plant by supplying the necessary simple sugar that every plant needs.
