Low Odour Strains....

In the near future I would like to start a high yeilding low odor grow. Got 2 ideas so far, Serious Seeds Chronic, and Northern Lights. My autoflowers already stink my house up a bit, i could only imagine if they were 2 feet taller. Wondering what other strains out there have high yeilds and wont stink up the house.

No decent strain is going to be free from odor. The smell is part of the appeal and it comes with the territory. Rather than trying to find a "low odor" strain, you should focus on taking measures to eliminate and control the odor. This can be done quite effectively by using carbon filters and ozone generators. Ona gel also works pretty well and all three of these strategies can be used together to really attack the problem.

well lets face it. I don't know of any high yielding low odour strands and those other dimwits are just trying to get their post count up with useless already known info. so sorry mate.

NL#5 is a pretty staple strain for those properties, but low odour is a relative term.. Sure a crop of NL#5 may smell less than one or two skunks, but it can still fill your entire house with enough odour to instantly drop a horse if you ventilation isn't up to par..

The berry and fruit named strains do not smell like skunk as bad as say AK47. I'm waiting on my order of WhiteBerry in the mail now ... :)

Blueberry, berry crosses (whiteberry, blackberry), grapefruit, These are options for you.

nl#5xbigbud by nirvana i think it was grew it years ago fucking huge yielder i pulled 2 z's a plant in soil with two week veg from clone, now the reason i'm suggesting this is i was shitting myself that i was growing hemp the whole way through it was huge but didnt frost up at all until the last week or so. there was pretty much no smell at all unless you squeezed a bud hard and then you would get a faint hazy kinda smell off it.
when hung to dry it still had hardly any oudor even once bone dry,i was starting to think i'd wasted my time. but then after 24 hours in a paper bag it started to get a little whiff to it so jarred it up put it to the back of the storage room and left it there for 3 days before going near it when i opened the jar i nearly fell on my arse the strench was unreal. pure haze goodness i dont know where it came from no smell of northern lights or bigbud (thankgod)
cannot reccomend this strain strongly enough for low odour but at the same time run a fat filter just to be sure, you cant guaruntee that you'll get the same pheno i selected the strongest growing mum from a batch of seeds and binned the rest

This is the kind of info I was looking for, thanks. Sounds like she's a strain to consider. How was the smoke?

Any NL cross will show phenos that act like that.. More than only NL crosses actually.. You're gonna need to hunt for those phenos in any strain though.. Once you find it, clone it..

If you dont wanna go through all that complicated air filtration shit then maybe u needa grow outdoors

Blueberry makes my house smell like someone is growing dope. I've never come across a strain that doesn't.

I've grown kickass strains that barely smelled, there's no correlation between potency and odor.
I grow 100 % inorganic I'm sure that's what keeps my odor down as I've grown some strains that had warnings that they were super stinky with next to nothing in my grow room. The buds smell fine BTW.

I'm not so sure about this. The odor is caused by the essential oils (i.e. resin) produced by the plant. Higher essential oil content equates to higher THC levels. Maybe there's no direct correlation between the perceived strength of the odor and overall psychoactive content of the plant, but the stuff that gets you high is the same stuff that makes it stanky.

But essential oils and such aren't what get you high.. Killer hash smells less than the weed it was made from..
And alot of the odour you need to fight is general plant odour.. That smells nothing like bud.. If you smoke a joint near a grow op, the burning bud masks the growing bud somewhat (not well) but it pronounces the underlying plant odour.. I've detected single puny little hobby plants in other rooms that weren't even flowering in friends homes because they had no ventilation..
