DIY Rolling Table

Plastic tables are inexpensive, you can use them and fold them away. They are not the right height for working with plants and you can't really move them around with anything on them. Bending and stooping over is not my idea of fun. So I want a table on wheels a little taller. I had purchased these furniture dollys on sale for $15.00 and modified them (added wood) to hold the reserviors for the drip systems I had. Now that I have the res on the bottom of the table instead I didn't need the dolly, you can not buy the casters for less than the dolly. Here we go..on the road again...turn the page... .. the legs fit right in there, one rolling table, 38" high 2' by 4'. you can get tables bigger or smaller. I will be using this table for expirement plants so I put a frame around the table. The pieces that go across the width sit on the table, the ones that go the length go besdie the table and the little piece at the ends stops it from sliding off. The nice thing is, when you don't need it, it comes apart for storage, when its together I can move it with one hand even when it has 28 plants on it, two hands if I have to turn a corner. Uhhh... I haven't taken it apart for storage since I put it together. VV:eyesmoke:

I already posted how to roll a joint in my blue thread, you can check that out. I recently read the article Paradise Lost about WAMM in California and the talked about thier get togethers around the 'rolling table'. They spend about 4 hours rolling joints that they give away, have had 191 of thier people die since 1992, and now the folks that started it are going to lose the farm. I wouldn't mind sitting at that rolling table, I would even make a table and bring the stools if I was remotely close to Cali.
And giving people ideas is the reason I make the threads. Are you sure you want me to change? :eyesmoke:VV:blsmoke:

Reminds me of my rolling fish carts from when I shipped aquarium fish. Rubbermaid makes them. Nice, but expensive (back in '94 or so they were about $200).

All rolling tables are helpful in grow areas, I have the advantage of a concrete floor which makes this one easy to clean, take of the border, pour some bleach water on it, and wipe it off. VV

yea, props to people that help the patients. ++rep VicVic for one of the good guys.

but for the record. i dont need a video to tell me how to roll a joint when i can do it one handed while riding my bike down the road. blunts too. ever roll a cross joint?

GrowTech

stays relevant.
Nice job Vic... Will definitely make a difference in how I arrange my future grow ops... Moving my trays around would be so much easier than moving the plants around... big time +rep for you my friend.

Postie does any manual rolling I need and I don't really get into blunts. HazyEyes can tell you what the blunts do to me, we smoked up like that once. And we will straighten out the record.

Thanx Growtech, you could even turn the table around 180 degrees instead of turning each pot. VV:eyesmoke:
