Selling oz's for about 300 of the kind would be an almost ideal situatiion if you know somebody that can move that kind of weight for you, preverably a delivery serivice (a legal dealer who only sellss only to medical patients and (Hopelfully) his best freinds. if you can somehow grow some kill for the guy that people really like, he will buy more from you. this is where the serious part starts, is this going to be some extra pocket money for taking your gal out for burgers and sshakes at the a and w on friday, or do you want a new benz? because in calfiornia,certain levels of growing are ok, and certan levels will get you raided faster than you can d say al davis. in other words, you can legally grow up to 99 plants in the city of san diego, ca. but YOU MUST CHECK YOUR LOCAL ORDINANCE ON MAX PLANTS. That's right, 99 plants, but you must be an official caregiver fro three other people. this simply means that they give you permission to grow weed for them (pretty tough, right?) and should probably give you a copy each of their rec forms so in case johnny law gets involved you'll have some kind of explanation as to why you have a hundred pot plants growing at your house. at this stage, the only variable is how much pot can you grow on 100 plants. or 25, if your just going to grow for yourself or whatever, which is much better because people start getting kinda greedy when they see a lot of pot plants growing at your pad and may attempt to take them away by less that scrupulous means. if you are growing inside and who isn't who is trying to grow as much as possible, according to weed gurul, anything above 1/2 gram per watt of light is fairly respectable, a gram a watt and your well on your way, and anything beyond that is gravy.
well heres the breakdown: if you have two lights, an mh and a hps, as well as plenty of seeds or a cloning chamber (I have recently found that cloning is not as easy as they meke it out to be) , but say you can keep 10 plants in clone, ten in veg, and ten flowering all the time, which would be almost posisible, with a bathrorom cfl for your clones, a 400 w mh for vegging, and a 1000 watt hps for flowring, (or ideally for a one room set up a two light system with 2 600 w hps's. now lets say you have all 25 plants in the flowering room,theyll fi, cause some will be smaller than others, and remember YOU CA00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000N SET UP THE MH LIGHT (KEEP IT AT 400W) , FOR some re0000000000000ason, it just works better with the 1000-1200 watts \of hps so at this point you are using 1400-1600 watts of light, so run an ac in there and get your nutes right and and check for cataerpillars adn spider mites and other nasty creatures and if they do show up show no mercy dr doom foggers three weeks in a row a week apart each. b/c i have lost crops to pests an dhave come to know what works. so leave your smaller palnts alone pretty much, water about twice aweek, with the bg ones it just depends how thirsty they look. also you may want to think about c02 systems for the flowering room, a cheap way to do this is buy some of those hockey puck things they sell at grow shops , chop em up into fourths, and pour water on one of the pieces about every third day barring any major complicaitons like i say you should have at least 1/2 a gram a watt so we have at at least 1400 watts,
750 grams/30 = exactly 25 oz., a pretty respecable harvest. according to high times, kind seems to go for around 400 an ounce, depending on the strain and time of year. this seems like retail to me, as i wouldnt' pay much more that 50 an eigth, so plan on maybe wholesale at 5k for your pound if you sell it by the oz, now if you find someone to take the whole libby off your hands that's a different story, maybe 2-3k depending on the strain, your business acumen, etc.
