I took the dome off today its been about two weeks and within 2hrs at 75 Degrees half of them shriveled right up so i pulled one or two and no roots at all? How could this be? Took bottom cuttings followed directions for my propagator misted once a day and in two weeks no roots on half thats fucked! what am I doin wrong?

dude, i have about 20 clones, and it happened to me, actually a bit more intense, since we are only using water, after 10 days i always notice a yellowing, its the N deficiency...the water contains none of the essential nutes it neeeds....dont stress it , when they have a nice ball of roots you will be either feeding, or putting in soil with nutes already there

Well throught the day I have lost a few more Started with out 18 clones down to about 8 or so kinda upset pulled rockwool apart on eat and no roots to be found and by days end ill be on day 14 thats not good dont think they ever will if nothing after 14 days must be something wrong with what im doing. . . they looked okay because of the humidity dome and all the moisture they couldnt dry out but the second the dome came off bye bye well hopefully the 8 left have some roots or ill be doing a mass funeral tomorrow for 18 clones and my success rate if you kno what I mean but its all a learning process i guess shoulda left them on my plant to make buds lol!

^ how long did it take, for you to dip the stem, into the rooting gel?

you have to do it quick, from what i have heard...
if oxygen goes up the stem, then it's a no go, it's worthless

but, hopefully, the rest remaining, take a turn for the better
good luck

Oh its was plenty fast I think I might have rushed it too much might let them soak in a class of water longer and use better rooting stuff used some shitty powder think Im gonna have to upgade to the gel! and might have a try at aero cloning seems to be the way to do it only thing is once you have 6'' to 8'' roots how do you transplant to rockwool for a flood and drain table cuz my grow room is set up for hydro not aero but the clone success rate is so much better!

i use a home made cloner that looks and acts like an ez cloner and i would wait till the roots are just starting to pop out of the little bumps then transplant to rockwool (carefully ). :)

Im more of a fan of cloning with an ez cloner type system, Rockwool is very easy to get too saturated with water and roots need lots of air. Rockwool works if you can keep the right amount of water in your cubes, lots of work in an arid climate, not too hard in a moist climate.

Good luck and dont give up, sooner or later you will find the right combination and then start thinking,,, this is easy.

all i did was got a small 12 qt tote from walley world and put 2 bubble curtains in the bottom and hot glued em down then cut a bunch of holes in the top a little smaller than the ez cloner replacment inserts and then i picked up some of the inserts from my local hydro shop. some people call it a bubble cloner or whatever but man it works like a dream so far and cost like 20 bucks to build :)

Well shit I love the sound of that and am always into new project and experimentation with the ganja so can you do me a big favor and post a build sheet or parts list and some pics never need a DIY Bubble Cloner please do inform sounds pretty cool.

Owen, that sounds a hell of a lot like what Honkey does, he says he's got damn near a 100% success rate for getting cuttings rooted FAST that way.
