Plant seems small for day 11 seedling

If this is your first grow then I’d be willing to bet you are watering too much. Coco needs to be kept more damp than soil but watering seedlings properly can be tricky, especially when you start them in a pot that big. If you haven’t already then I would suggest reading up on hot to grow properly in coco. I don’t grow in coco but those who do recommend www.cocoforcannabis.com a lot as a great resource.
I don’t think I’ve been overwatering as I’ve only been watering once every 2 days when the pots feel light but I think the overheating most likely stunted growth. I have read reviews on the grow lights I have on a few different sites which mostly seem all positive. I have also seen grow videos with the same lights as mine on Youtube and the lights seemed to have done a decent enough job on them videos. Oh well I’ll have to wait and see how they look in a weeks time I guess!

A/c's dont go in tents, golden rule not hard to find in a thread. They go in the room the tent is in then the tent draws that room air.

Its not 35 unless you have no extraction, normally a grower makes the mistake of placing the thermometer in the light which heats it up way past air temperature.

Suggest re-looking into the basics.

I see, at the time it was my only option to try and reduce the overheating in my tent to prevent serious damage or even death to my plants. It’s a portable air conditioner I bought, similar ones I’ve seen a lot of Youtubers using in their grow tents. Also I keep my thermometer above the lights always as I know the heat from the lights will give the thermometer incorrect readings if placed under them.

Not sure i see any worth in Youtube growers.

If you put an ac in a tent with an extraction fan then it is pointless as im sure you can see the cold air is sucked straight out.

You can grow in 35c indoors, you give no reason why it is that, if the room isnt that hot neither will a tent, you should use the thermometer to control your room which will control your tent.

These are just the basics.

I have an inkbird temperature controller that’s set to 26c so every time it goes over 27 it automatically turns the A/C on until the temp is back down to 26c. It usually turns on 2-3 times an hour but is never on for more than a few minutes each time. The room is usually 30c+ during the day. Do you recommend me putting the A/C inside the room instead? It’s a fairly big room so I’m assuming it’ll cost me more to run the A/C, specially summer time

No it is not! 600W LED has +- 270W power draw so it is more than half less!!!
Yes it is.

TRUE WATTS FFS.

600 led watts is exactly the same as 600hps watts. It's all 600 watt usage at the same price from the elec company.

Even if its 600watts boiling a kettle its still 600watts costs.... Come on stop being so dumb.

I've seen plenty of growers put their ACs directly in grow tents or grow rooms. It can cause humidity issues though, especially if you have one of those units you fill with ice water, so just something to be aware of. It is always preferable to have it outside the tent.

Your main issue is you waited too long to feed them. I kind of guessed you were in coco immediately which is why I asked about your medium. Since coco is inert you need to start feeding pretty much right away. When I grew in coco I started feeding at about 3 days old. They were basically starving until you just fed them.

Make sure you feed them daily going forward with a properly pHed nutrient mix and they should come around.

You cant control a tent without controlling the room, a tent is merely a box with air running fast through it, the air is not staying in the box long enough to control.

Im uk and its not over 30c indoors with a window open or closed for that matter, run at night if that is the case avoid the hot part of the day.

And yes the a/c goes in the room then your extractor fan pulls cold air through your tent.

But I do not deny what he said, I agree that HPS are great for budding phase. But not always you can replace 300W Led for 250w HPS, specificaly in small closets you will have problems with temps. When you have grow room as hell HPS is best choice ofc...
Nonsense.

If heat is the problem you have an extraction problem.

For the price HPS cannot be beaten even in a small closet.

Get better extraction and circulation.

Thanks for all the advice man! Much appreciated! Only reason I waited to feed them is because few people told me seedlings don’t require any nutrients for the first week, apparently they have enough energy to get through the first week just on PH balanced water. But now that you mention it I think you’re right. Maybe this is why they’re growing so slow because I only fed them nutes for the first time on day 9!

Right I see, I think that’s where I’m going wrong, I only have a carbon filter fan, looks like I need to get an extractor fan asap. Do I run them both at the same time? The carbon filter fan and the extractor fan?

No problemam, it's a really common issue for new growers in coco. I've found the cotyledon leaves really only feed them for a few days, and the stronger your light, the faster they use those stores nutrients up.

I highly recommend that link someone posted earlier, think it was @TreeFarmerCharlie. I'm too lazy to go back lol.

I’m assuming he meant to say an LED with an actual wattage of 600w is exactly the same cost as 600w HPS. Most actual 600 wattage LED lights are advertised as 3000w.
EXACTLY THAT.

600 watts is 600 watss regardless you're boiling a kettle, powering any lights or using the missus big dildo.

It's all 600watts and priced exactly the same.

Geez, its not that hard to work out ffs

I see so do you recommend me to switch the lights to cfl instead? Or just let the LEDs run for now?
Add a bit in if you can't upgrade to anything better, I put in 4 bulbs with the LED aswell, which reckons it's 600w/ 40w power draw (nothing) the bulbs are 20w each so went from 40w to 120w but I only added it in when she started to flower, let me know if you try it early I'd love to see what happens.
Plus it looks like normal light now

Fans and tents are rated by cfm or m/3, suggest that a carbon filter fan is an extractor fan or you can call it an inline, many names same thing.

If it pulls air through your tent you got what you need. Your a little green its my fault as hard when we know the technical stuff like fan names and sizes and your just learning it.

Okay now I’m starting to understand. Thank you. So I’ve only got a carbon filter extractor fan that removes smell and air from inside the tent. Should I set up another extractor fan that brings fresh air into the tent?

Your seedlings look 2 days old.......not 11.
If you want fast growth, start in smaller containers.
Coco should be fed with nutes daily to run off.......never plain water.
Your growth will be slow and feeding will be a challenge because you started in large containers.
These seedlings are 10 days from sprout and fed daily.

Good luck.

Most fans are pretty good at providing passive airflow (when air gets sucked in through the vents in the base, when the tent walks suck in we call that negative pressure.

You got good negative pressure? If so your good dont worry about intake.
