Could low humidity do this?

Hiya
My other thread has died so ill ask here - 6 wk old DP Strawberry Cough in DWC under basic 135w QB.
Temps, pH, normal, ppm is actually dropping 100 a day so shes feeding.
Overnight the damage spread a lot, and the only thing was different was that the humidity dropped pretty low, 35%. And when i crank up the RH to 70% or so she seems to like it.
So...could this damage be due to low humidity?
Cheers!

^^ second that @bk78 if everything else is truly within normal range, Cal/Mag
double triple check PH and PPM, give that water a good stir.

24-28° or thereabouts.
Yeah ive been thinking all along it might be a deficiency. Gonna bump ppm up from 900 to 1100 and see what that does.
Will read up on VPD.
Thanks!

Those punctate rust spots are a classic lack of Ca symptom. I run 10% humidity and my plants only do that when they need Calcium. I use General Hydroponics CaliMagic because I like the ratio of Mg to Ca. Good luck and nice grow so far.

That scrog is awesome. I was wondering how I could avoid buying a net. Thank you for posting this picture!!! (Im gonna do mine with pvc frame)
Cheers :) My first scrog, its kinda fun tucking and tying the tips down!
Yeah i just drilled holes 5cm apart and threaded some string through to make the net. If youre interested...?

Scrog update if anyones interested...she's not quite as evenly spread out as id like, need to fill the two nearest corners. There is some tip burn i think thats the nutes, im throwing a bit more at her than i probably should (ppm rising 60-80 over a day). Otherwise i think she looks great, hope it continues :)

Im still having problems following, was it not a humidity problem and that good grower who grows at low humidity just great right?

I think it was a few things, i moved her into my living room which had crazy low humidity (20%) which didnt help, plus cal def, she definitely improved with added CalMag as suggested by the guys here.

Yeah. I'm in the same boat my RH is never above outside , between 10-20% and they grow just fine as long as I cover the basics.

That's good to know. Few people live outside the VPD and during winter when I can get very close to good VPD parameters my plants look like beauty queens. But during my brutal summers I'm afraid my girls look a bit ratty. Doesn't seem to change the high at all.

I am the complete opposite. Winter I struggle hard to keep VPD in check, summer is a breeze.
