You have the hygrometer to fine tune it where ya want it, nice little device to have when curing.
I didn't have one for my first crop and accidentally let it dry to 40%. I was able to bring it back with boveda packs but the flavour was never very good.

oh i misunderstood lol

ya thats smart, gave yourself a good idea where they are at for sure.
It's cool, I didn't really clarify and I'm still really new to all this so the advise is always appreciated.

Jump on Amazon LG they have heaps. You can even get fancy ones lol I know how you roll.

I did check amazon, I just couldn't bring myself to spend $30-$40 on paper bags. Too fancy for me lol.

I chop the plants hole and try to have the soil nice and dry before the chop kinda acts as a pre dry. I aim for about 50-60% humility during drying and 20deg takes about 8-14 days then I trim and jar them and burp twice a day if I'm lucky I dont forget to close the jars before work happens once and a while wife hates it when that happens lol I burp them for about a week or two
I need to setup something for drying while at the same time controlling odor. I'm currently doing everything including drying in the same 3x3 tent. I started my next batch of seeds last weekend and they're sitting on a bench outside the tent right now under a florescent light. Next time I could push that back a week or ideally have another spot to dry so I can quickly get the next generation in the tent. I have that big polyploid bud hanging untrimmed so I'll see what I think about dry trimming this weekend and maybe try it with the entire crop next time.

Thanks @ProfessorChaos420 That would be a lot of fun!

I finally had a chance to sample it on Saturday night. It still tastes a little green. I've never tasted anything like this, there's almost a hint of not quite ripe bananas mixed with skunk. For me the high hit hard and fast then tapers to a nice relaxing couch lock high that lasted a long time.

The chocolate mint og seedlings are in the buckets now and looking great for being 1 week old.

I made some cannabutter with my popcorn buds and used it to make chocolate chip cookies yesterday. I ate one cookie in the early afternoon and had to write off the rest of the day.

Awww I want a cookie :hump: really a job well done lg. The flavor and effect of the bud should get better with a good cure, no clue about the edibles though, would guess they have a relatively short shelf life so nom nom nom 8)

I'm curious as to what the green ties going into your buckets are for?

I wish I could share the cookies.

The green ties are just something I came up with as a solution for doing LST once the plants are a little larger. It's twisted around the mesh of the netpot. I tried 3m sticky hangers stuck to the lid in the past but they just popped off after a while. Do you think it's a bad idea? it's plastic coated so i didn't think it would be a problem with the water.

I think that's kind of brilliant actually, and I might try something similar next grow. I use wire during veg and string and eye-hooks screwed into the floor when they get big in bloom, but I can't swap out the res bucket because of that. In veg I swap out the res bucket for a clean one every week.

I thought it might be for that or to pull up the top of the pot for res cleaning or swapping was my other guess.

Wow, LG! Those cookies look delicious.
My lady has been trying to get me to let her make edibles with some of the excessive amount of bho we have at the moment... ... Looking at your edibles is making me wanna let her. lmao

Fantastic job all around, my friend:clap:

 I thought you were going to tell me it's a bad idea lol. I haven't seen anyone else use the netpot for attachment and I'm not sure why. I'd still like to be able to find a way to see my roots after I start using the scrog. There's really no way to tell if you're having problems unless you find an odor in your water. I forgot to take pics during harvest, but my roots were insanely packed in the bucket and caused a bit of a vacuum when lifting it out.

You should totally let her. I love edibles, the high is awesome and nothing like smoking or vaping weed. A little goes a long way and you sleep like a baby.

Quick update on the chocolate mint og. These pics were from yesterday, 14 days from seed.

Roots are established now and they're just starting their third node. I'll top at the fifth node, probably next weekend. The plant on the left was a little slower getting its roots down so it's a bit smaller than the one on the right. PPM is at 280, ph 5.9, I'll do a reservoir change next weekend and start upping the nutes.

lol i was just thinking it looked like a nifty idea as well, I just use string and tape on the side of the pot ;). Same problem, after a few weeks the plants are pretty much stationary until complete.
