Which are the green power? I havent seen them. The Phillip's elite 945 was recommended to me by everyone I talked to so I just went with them. Expensive things for sure. I spent about 180$ for the two bulbs I'm using in my fixture now.
Not a cheap hobby for sure, but I needed something to fill my need to do something with my extra income.

180 each?! Ouch that's expensive. I do love these 945 bulbs tho. I'd probably pay more if I needed more bulbs now that I've used them. They're worth it

With my first grow going into bloom, I'm seriously considering doing testing on my first batch of completed stuff. Any idea how expensive it is.

While I like this type information, it does seem a bit unfair to compare CFL, LED, and Cmh to each other. Cmh would be the obvious winner in most ways. I'd really like to see a 630w cmh in a side by side comparison with 1k HPS
yeah im going to get a 630 cmh like luckys then ill compare with my 1000w de same strain

Someone direct messaged me with an actual side by side grow log between 630w dual bulb cmh (like mine) and 1000w HPS. Talk about an amazing read, and the pics of everything throughout the entire grow are amazing. Both lights did really well, but in the end comparing heat, density, growth, and the end product color.....yep, I love my cmh all the more

Ozzie,
Dude....seriously, if you go cmh, make sure to get the new square wave ballast. The options are fairly limited, but the Vivosun I got through Amazon had free shipping even to Alaska. 2 bulbs in one fixture? With the capability to run one or both at on e for either 315 or 630w?! Fuck, it's a win no matter how you do it, and the versatility is unmatchable
