Show us the sift

Water hash has been made since the 70's. Check out Roberts Clark's book called HASHISH. It's got a written history of hash.
And no doubt there's lots of shitty stuff out there, but there are some very talented hash makers in North America. Check out Nica Selecta, Frenchy canoli, bubble man to name a few.
The growers and hash makers of Nepal and Afghanistan, Morocco, are traditionalists. The quality is definitely amazing. I'm not denying that, but I bet there is stuff being produced in North America that is on par with anything that is made there. I've smoked tonnes of imported hash, I lived in Halifax for a long time... that's a major port where European gear made it into north America.. and I can honestly tell you that none of the Jamaican, Lebanese, Morracan, Afghanistan stuff that I've smoked ever melted with the purity that my dry sift does.
Not trying to start a debate on traditional hash making techniques and modern styles. There is it alot to be said about hand rubbed charas and cream from Nepal, and India, but don't knock the quality of North American because we do things differently.
Ill humbly disagree, give me traditional sputnik from morcco or charas or nepalese temple balls plz

Every body has their thing... I love it all, I just prefer my dry sift melty.
Thats morrocan/lebanse style... they melt it too, the precision is how long what temp and how much pressure and then the cure, different then bud cure, they jsut leave it in the sun

Afghani initial process also is sifting but they use water and melty with pure fire at same time

Nothing compare to any of the above and Ive tired plenty of hash in america, sorry I stated this before stick to wax and gummy bears, leave the hash to the ones who invented it. Here I have to dodo box my own hash to get anything decent.

I believe that being able to adapt with the times gives people advantage. Modern techs are just the evolution of hash making, purity is the byproduct of trial and error. Stick to old ways and pass like the dinosaurs, let the young guys carry the tradition forward. I prefer my hash free from mold and full of THC, instead of CBN from thc breaking down in the sunlight and adding unneccasy water to complicate the drying process. Good hash doesn't need pressure and heat to stick.... pure headies.
This thread is about sifting... let's keep it on track. Let's see some pics of your gear....

Good hash doesnt require heat and pressure? Would be a waste to make it without r u kidding me?. Modern tech is good for wax and extracts as stated. As for mold or any of that, dunno what crap they sold you in europe and the CBN process and decarboxylization is essential for that stoney hash. If I want a pure THC medicine effect much more effective is something like AK type strain or even purer sativas bud unsieved.

Dude, fill your boots. I could really careless about how your make your hash. All I know is if my sift sits at room temp for even a couple hours it turns into clumps. No heat no water. If you can't get yours to do that without pressure and heat then it's not full melt hash.
I've smoked alot of different stuff over the years and personally, I've never had anything from Europe that impressed me as much as the stuff that is being made locally. CBN is the byproduct of thc breaking down... in my opinion thats a waste of good thc. I'm into flavour, and the terps you get from unpressed is what I'm after. Decarbing will happen when you put fire to it, no need to destroy the resin heads before you smoke it.... in my opinion. At this point, I'm done comparing European and north American... it's about sifting for me. I love making hash and I'm not "Leaving it to traditinal hash makers.

I dont want to turn this into a passive aggressive debate, your being dense and not admitting that if you want terps from raw keif, but thats kief not hash, it has a more flowery taste and more of a marijuana high its not hash

CLumped keif is not hash period, and yes I get clumps too fyi, who u thikn u talkin too?

THose clumps will never be same true "chocolate" oozy gewey balls of hash WITHOUT heat or even hand pressure if you dont want to make comercial bricks. CBN is essential to hashish, as stated if you want pure THC stick to sativas or smoke your uncompressed kief, real hashish is a process and pressure and heat is involved, as for destroying resin heads I dunno wtf ur talking about, the traditional heat and pressure is what melts the chocolate, the clumping you talk about there is no binding of the trichomes, and sorry to burst your bubble but CBN is essential yet again for the stoney hash high you will NOT get with kief, add decarboxylization and the THCA turns into the THC you claim to lose from CBN... which may I add the final amount of THC Is superior to original after this process even with the transformed CBN, cause of the THCA

Have a nice day

PS: You even said it yourslef, ou never had anything from europe to write home about, hence you aint had shit. And what you smoked was probably cut with crap and not even top grade

Its not about a matter of opinion this is where I think you fail to see the big pictures, this is your hed thinking kief that clumps is true hash, while it maybe a great delicacy of whatever premium bud, its still trichomes that have no gone through heat or pressure. As stated americans stick to wax and leave the hash to tradition or old school californians with rolling pins and celphane and ovens.

Btw show me some pics of the clumped kief. I saw some dark hash pics here in this thread, they cant get like that without heat and pressure.

20180318_021523.jpg 20180318_020410.jpg 20180318_020410.jpg these are the screens I use. They are smaller so you can put them in the freezer and not transfer too much heat to the material being worked and I can run a few grams at a time which makes my life a lot easier. I only make personal amounts so the size doesn't effect me too much.
The nuggets are the material I've been working with lately. It's a purple Afghan kush crossed with an old world sativa blue widow cross I inbred over 4 generations, I call it troll doll. Super Terpy, very uplifting high, that can put you down if you cross the line. I love my fruity tasting meds. The troll doll definitely over powers the kush in flavor but leaves the resin production and bud density.

I like using the 150 u screen as my "work" screen. I break my material up on top of that, the 105 and 75 u screens separate the resin heads into purity levels. The money hash is on top of the 75 screen but I find the 105 makes some pretty decent gear too.... its not quite full melt, but it gets the job done.

Ok sounds good, but 2 questions

Where is this high tech?
And what difers your method after sifting that doesnt involve heating to decarb and melt or any pressure?

Id rather that then some dirty morocan farmers dead skin in mine cause he "hand" collected it
No thanks lol

More of a joke then anything please dont let it pop tops for it :)
Ohh dirty farmer skin!!

As stated get real, thats hash face it. Anything which epicflower talks about which Im still uncertain what all this tech he talks about is just kief, hash involves "dirty farmer skin", in any case if your worried about skin talk to nepal and afgan dirty ones, the morrocans dont use hands as much

Ok I understand but can you plz show me something done instead of buds.... I would like to see your final piece of hash or if you want to call it that.

Been there done that and no way will it ever be like real hash, in order for that exact spicey taste and smell and stoney feeling it needs to be done old school way, there may be newer methods to the old tech but they arent anything new, which is why Im asking what your final process is
