25 to 30 inches is good dude.

I've battled the same issues with LED as i've came from HPS and CFL practices. 600W LED for a seedling is a little strong, does your LED have a flower / bloom mode? By that I mean can you control the number of clusters of LEDs which are on? if so, i'd try to start it at a lower wattage than 600W, if you can't do that keep the distance around 30 to 25 inches... Check for any stretching, if stretching then you need to move the light down until you find the sweet spot.

No it doesn't have both veg and flower, and they are stretching and I have it at 30 right now..
Move it to 25 inches above then :-) keep a check on it periodically through the day, make sure it stops the stretch, usually increments of 2 to 3 inches is good to start to find that sweet spot for your LED type.

I've got my current grow at 30 inches above and no stretch, really depends on your LED but the 30 to 25 is a safe bet for sure :-)

I have it at 25 right now and I marked it with a tooth pick last night and didn't stretch any over night so that may be the spot...I say I marked it..them..it's not just one stretching it's 12...so maybe now instead of going up they will go down! Roots that is...thanks for all the great advice!
