My first set up

One thing to note before we get into this grow is that i tried this grow before with 5 plants and same nute line flora trio for hardwater because water is 230+ out the tap :/ but the plants were only under led lighting and produced 4.2 ounces in a 4x4 and 4.2 ounces in a 5x5 with 8 plants so conclusion was that 6 200w led grow lights could only produce a 1/4lb so my first real grow was a 5x5 and a 4x4 flowering together with only the leds and I only got a half pound out of 14 plants. The plants were healthy as fuck and harvested a little early due to funding lol and the bud was good as shit crystally and all just not that much nug. My conclusion was the led grow lights I purchaced are really great vegging light and supplementary flowering light. Now I have a 600w hps wing reflector over a 3.5x3.5 canopy in an about 6x6 space 2 oscillating fans a 6inch 442cfm can fan with a scrubber venting the hot air into my apartment for winter and outside for summer. Also I have 4 leds to add some blue green and infared to my light mixture. I used the floor tray from the 5x5 for under the plants and the 4x4 floor tray is part of my reflective walls as well as the entire 5x5 lol. So this is my fiirst real grow now no fucking around I'm looking to get a pound on this one.

Day5 of flower after 2months veg on floratrio hardwater series aggressive veg feed cycle at half strength. Strain-8Ball kush. Goal 1lb.

Also to note this will be the first flower cycle that begins the perpetual harvest as long as new clones are cut every 4 weeks on every 4th week I will have clones that have vegged for 8 weeks before their 8 week flower cycle. Minimizing plant count by increasing the veg time by 4 extra weeks. Hopefully this will produce my goal of a pound every 30 days.

Pistills are really begining to form today is the most noticable so far. Also note that the taller 3 I have now pinched the 3rd internode down on all of the prominent tops sticking past the rest to slow upward growth for a couple of days to allow the shorties to catch up. Really shooting for perfectly even canopy height across all 4 plants. Another side note is that I took out 6 of the 10 led lights i had over the flowering plants because the temp was above 87 degrees F and the 1000watt portable ac unit works like shit takes too much power and makes the room hotter in the end even with the hot air being vented outside the room runs 3 degrees hotter with the ac on high so doesnt help took out the lights and ac only thing leds were for was a supplementary mixurte of blue and green and infared light that the 600w hps doesnt produce. The 600w hps is my power house and he is the one who will make my ladies swollen and dense and the supplemental mixture is to help with internodal spacing (keeping em close so them buds are not airy lol) and other benifits from the added color in my light spectrum. The internode spacing is really good at the canopy everything is tight together one ontop of the other right from day 1 which will produce really fat and dense buds in theory.

I also decided to just harvest the one flower area for now and wait on setting up the second because I have a flower space a veg space as well as a cloning/mother plant space and a small 2x2 tent for head stash to be flowered in and my drying area, to have a completely self sustaining farm with 2 flower areas is a little more room then i can steal from my house lol. All in all I have a completely self sufficient cannabis farm on a small scale and once I have mastered the one space to keep up with I will expand from there.

Any advice please as this is the 3rd time growing in dwc buckets. Thanks hope you enjoy the photos as well

Is this your first grow (actually 2nd grow)? What I'd suggest, is to simplify everything for right now. Use the 600w by itself, in your 3.5 x 3.5 area. A 3.5 x 3.5 area is the perfect footprint for a 600 watt light. You want to have some experience with exhaust and circulation before using a ton of lights in an enclosed space. Get a couple grows under your belt, before you start looking for ways to increase your yield. Right now, you should be shooting for .5g/watt. That means, with your 600w light, you should be yielding 300g. Here's the thing though, if you practice, and really learn the art of indoor growing, you can get way above .5g/w. I yielded 24oz in a single grow, under a 600w! Then you have to question if you even need that much. If so, by that time you'll have a much better idea of the lights you'll want to add, or replace, and you'll know how those light changes are going to effect your grow space, and what you need to adjust to account for those changes.

Good luck :)

BTW, if you have the ac in the same space you're trying to cool, the heat from the ac will cancel out the cooling. If the portable ac exhaust duct isn't insulated, it's almost the same thing. You need to get an insulated duct sleeve. They're less the $10 at HD. Portable ac's aren't very efficient, and having one in your tent can cause issues. It's better to cool the room the tent resides in. If that's not possible, you should take the portable ac out of your tent, and have it right outside. Run a flexible duct from the ac out to one if the vent sleeves at the bottom of your tent. Then, make sure the exhaust is insulated.

I didnt have insulated duct on my ac unit but its not in a tent its a closed off area in my basement outta sight and outta mind and yeah it did cancell the cooling running much smoother without it.

I just took this pic. These are a couple weeks after I rooted them. The ones on the left are about a week and a half behind the ones on the right. These are under a single, cheap-ass 600 watt light. Literally the cheapest I could find on Amazon!

Point is, a 600 watt light by itself, can grow plants big enough to threaten the available space inside a tent. But there's so much more to growing than just the lights.

I've used this example before, but it bears repeating. If you are just starting to play guitar, and you don't sound all that great yet, a better guitar isn't going to improve things. Joe Satriani can pick up a beat up old acoustic guitar at a garage sale, and rip a studio-ready riff in mere seconds! Make the most of the minimum, and you'll learn to get the maximum from anything! :)

So update and maybe some more clarity as to what i have going on here i took some close ups of baby buds forming its day 7 of 60. So i took some pics of the equipment and all together im in a space of about 12x12 space next to a furnace to avoid a heat signiture and its L shaped. I have my mothers, clones, veggers, drying, and flowering all in this space. Vegging 4 in a 4x2 2 mothers in the 2x2x4 and the cloner is an ez cloner manifold inside of that black tough box under the one led. Space is very limited and I have intake fans bringing in fresh air 2 4 inch 220cfm booster fans a 6inch 440cfm can fan ducted to that scrubber 2 oscilating fans and that big 20inch box fan blowing on the "cheapest 600w hps kit" ipower i could find from amazon too lol the leds sucked the tent was too hot so as you can see i murdered my tent and reincarnated it as my reflective walls along with some fire x 5/8 drywall for walls. So my flower space is a comfy 6x6 but everything else is all tucked into corner to maximize movement lol because bucket change can be a real bitch in that tiny area. I really am just trying to figure out how to maximise my little space and be as efficient as possible. I really appreciate the advice it has all been really helpful hope u like the pics.0307181316.jpg 1520447412101574631463.jpg 0307181319b.jpg 0307181317e.jpg 0307181319a.jpg 15204476438012077608660.jpg 15204476720171284370335.jpg 15204477008861034151744.jpg 15204478750131856788221.jpg 15204479243391555035401.jpg

Looks good!

The HPS throws all the color off, so I'm not sure if it's the case, but your leaves are looking pretty yellow. That's most likely going to be nutrients deficiency.

I think you've got too much light for your clones. Clones need very little light. Just something to keep them awake. A single CFL above each is about perfect. Too much light will make the clones try to grow, instead of root. This will greatly extend the time it takes to root.

I use a couple 2 ft T8s about 16" high for rooting. Before they've rooted, I only use one of them, and I cover part of the tube, to lessen the light even more.

Also is that a homemade humidifier i see next to ur babies there? Its a pretty cool looking unit if that's what it is. I built one of those ultrasonic ones inside of a box kind of like that but disks died more on order i will show ya the unit when its back together.

If you edit the hue of the pics, you can add a lot of the color back in. Another option is to take pics when the lights go out. Won't hurt them at all.

That's my DIY ultrasonic fogger! Check out my link below! The plants love it! Bring the humidity up without adding heat.
