Yeah done it that way for a while at first just bent till she snaps once then fold it out... Its a form of croping works same as pinching...

I've never tried the pinch method. I pretty much topped every plant I've done so far. Except for the first few fails. They didn't get old enough to be topped.

Its prob why I'm a bit more prone to break branches cos I top to

I've never tried the pinch method. I pretty much topped every plant I've done so far. Except for the first few fails. They didn't get old enough to be topped.

Its an opposite to topping... topping will keep it shorter and take abit to rebound.... where as pinching new growth will get lower branches going but she will still go bigger than topping... So if ya tough on space topping is best....
But if ya got the room ie outdoor id top once then pinch like a mother fucker... heads sooooo many heads....

Next time try a bit of duct tape on a leaf and stick it to the pot as soon as you put your clone in it's first pot,same result as super cropping but less stressful save the super cropping till they have been in their pot for a week

Oh for sure that young i wouldnt go snapping and cropping nothing lol duck tape is a man's real best friend.... Im talkin Miss Venus's beauty we use to let em go like a chrissy.. Then they would get folded out at 5 foot or so into the scrogs and pinched and left for a week.. Then defol and well you's no the rest.....

I don't find you break more branches but I stopped because I was having issues with the stem splitting in half where they had been topped.
The stem on the Moontang,only topped once but must have ended up FIMing it by mistake.

I still prefer L.S.T or super cropping rather than topping but for a scrog like yours it might not be as effective

I use lst and topping. Lst to draw the branches outwards. And topping to create more heads from which to work with.
