Does it look ready?

Hi,
This is my first post here. I tried reading up all I could before signing up this forum to ask this question.
I am growing in a part of the world where I can't get hold of recommended supplies.
So, I made do with whatever I could get hold of. Grew from the bagged seeds (don't know the actual strain but I was told it's 8 ball kush) unfortunately the only surviving plant grew to about 10'' and is now completing 8 weeks of flowering. The buds are very small (most of the pics that I am posting are with 8x zoom) and I am not sure if they are ready. The crystals appear to have turned transparent from cloudy/white and there are still new pistil growing. Any guidance would be appreciated.

i hope you mean they've turned white from clear...not sure what to do if they've turned clear after being white.....
the new pistil growth probably means it's doing it's "swell", putting on a last burst of growth in an effort to get pollinated.
when those new pistils start to turn, keep an eye on your trichs (the crystals are called "trichomes") when they look like they're almost all milky white, its ready. you can wait a little longer till you start to see more than a few amber/brown ones, and the high will be heavier, more "couch lock" ish

if you're going to try again, and have a hard time getting commercial products, i'd suggest looking at the organic section, you can get a lot of their ingredients from agricultural co-ops and local farms, even your own back yard. start a compost heap, put good stuff in it and you'll get good soil out of it within a year...maybe less, i'm not an expert

Its been another 5 weeks (total 13 weeks into flowering) but my buds are still very small and don't look ready
There are still new pistils growing and a weird growth on buds that looks like seeds although there was no male plant around it
I have grown this plant under a single 85 watt cfl with 6500k color temp (reason being lack of space)
I read somewhere that cfls need to be replaced after 3-4 months. Is it so?
Or this slow growth is driven by wrong color temperature for flowering stage?
I am thinking of moving it under the sun but its spring/summer here already and the days are 12+ hrs
What do you guys suggest i do?

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but you got yourself a male or hermie. First pic has a mature seed on top

I don't even know if you'll be able to smoke that, look in the organic section for sure

+1 on the hermie situation. those last 3 pics you posted all shows nanners all over the bud. best to look at your setup and find out why this happened?
What type of stress can trigger bananas to form on cannabis buds?

sure you can smoke it, its just got seeds in it. it won't make you grow ovaries.

Whatever you did this time, learn from it and more importantly, get a good book or links from a good website to give you instructions on what to do next time.
