Lighting question for a 4 x 8 tent but the real point is stealth trimming.

That's fine in veg but ideally you want it lower than that in flower, Ideally not over 60% and closer to 40-50%
I was thinking more in the lines the carbon scrubber might stop working..... security>weed quality for me lol.... but if it won't i would be happy to save 200$

AC should decrease the humidity a small bit. Keep in mind a dehumidifier creates heat as well unless you can vent it but venting the dehumidifier will also be tricky to keep odor in. Unless you go with a larger scrubber for whole room. Just my 2 cents, because I've been there and done that whole stealth issue.

@NrthrnMichigan

The problem is my ac is like this connected to the wall in the room outside the tent. And almost everyone told me i need the windows open for air exchange. I don't think running this aircon outside the tent with windows open would be efficient.

Yes you will.. I run 2 scrubbers in my upstairs room.. one is venting the hood and one for the whole room that the tent is in.. When I have guests at the house no one smells a thing inside or outside. I could probably get by with 1 but I prefer to err on the side of caution.

I also trim in the same room and the constant drone of the two fans to me is relaxing to a point then the ear buds get inserted and the rock n roll gets cranked up!

Do you run an ac? won't all the cold air from the ac just go out the other exhaust out the room? My setup plan was only the tent would have a scrubber and whenever i need to do stuff in the tent im gonna close the windows in the room. I am doing quantum boards btw if this helps any in regards to heat.

My electric bill is quite high because of it too.. Not the very best in efficiency but it works.

Kind of hard to reduce humidity with just fans...all you're really doing is moving humid air around. 81 is ok but still kind of on the high end of where I like to be but I do dwc and I have to maintain cooler water temps.

Oh was planning to do dwc too but when I saw the autoflower experst at the autoflower forum growing a pound with gluberry in 3 months with autopots I reasearched into it. With the airdome those autopots have the same performance as dwc plus you don't need a chiller it's one of the components I changed on my shopping list since it's hot up here. Although the point of growing my own is to save money so I am designing my setup with as low monthly overhead as possible where everything is sufficient enough for some good smoke but not perfect. If I was going to do it for commercial or selling I would probably invest more into overhead like AC. Maybe I could just turn it on during the last 2-3 weeks of flowering to save on electricity.

Sounds like you have a good plan...You just have to pull the trigger and put that plan into action.. You will find plenty of help on this site if need be. Good luck to you!

81 F wont be a problem. That's 27c.

I'm seeing 34c (93F) reguly in my tent at the moment (summer here). I'm flowering to and the buds are rock hard. Not sure at what temps bud density takes a hit.

I'm in soil.

What is your humidity range mine would be from 60%-80%

Hmmmm Do you think an 8' active air (with a dimmer) in a cardboard box and a ton of acoustic foam around it plus 2 silencer mufflers in the end be enough to silence it? Or should I get the more expensive silent fans like Soler & Palau? Cus I noticed the silent fans have a lower CFM.
Well as well as the expensive fan I have I also have a standard ruck fan which is encased in acoustic rock wool and in a box, both are turned down with variable speed controller. There isn't much difference between the two fans noise wise, although the ruck is smaller anyway.
So you should be fine with all you mentioned

Depends on the season and the weather. It was 99% last week. Hot and rainy. Can be 1C and misty or fog. . The avg humidity levels over the year (Check the local weather sites for yours) are 79% in the AM and 57% in the PM
I'm sub tropical.

With a dehumidifier set on auto the tent does not go over 65%.

My weather is tropical so I guess I really need a dehumidifier.... So much spendage lol would a 30 pint be enough for a 10" 10" room with a 4 x 8 tent in it? Planning on putting it outside of the tent to lessen the heat. Or should I go 60 pints?
