Any advice welcome

Setup:
Passive intake
2000w led (most likely 900-1000w from what I read online about these lights)
2x4 tent
7gal grow bag
fox farm frog soil
Technflora starter nutrients kit

1 critical mass x AK47

I will be building a SCROG tomorrow

Thanks everyone on here for helping me get set up

Looks tight man! Ill be switching to LED once my current grow is done.
Ill be following yours for sure to see the results, my tent is roughly same size.
Good luck man!

That seed isn’t is the 7g pot is it?
Do not start with your end pot .
Stage up. I usually transplant 3-4 times durning veg before going to 10g at the end.
Two plants would fill the space faster n easier.

Do you have any fans ? Air movement inside the tent? Any way to exchange the air in the tent?

Always exciting to get started! Don't need all that light for a lil seedling. I'd use one for now and start out atleast 30" from top, and work your way in.

Your soil should have enough nutes to get you thru atleast 2 weeks. Uppot again from that point. And you'll most likely never need to use those nutes

Keep educating and researching and you'll do a mighty fine job.

Thanks everyone for the help and advice. Taking everyone's tips and advice here is where i'm at today.
1. Added a small clip fan
2. reworked the exhaust
3. brought a seed starting kit and started to germinate 3 seeds. (first one dodn't make it planted to deep)
4. put some what of a air filter on the tent for the passive intake (just enough to keep some junk from getting in)
5. picked up a bluelab Ph pen "OUCH"
6.Started building the scrog

You need a PH test solution to check and calibrate the pen. (Monthly)
This is very important, if you don’t keep up on it , it will bite you. Don’t let it dry out.
PPM meter is another good tool,

Bring the RH up too.

Looks good.

Yeah I did brought 4.9, 7.0 and storage solution. Man the thing cost a lot!
What's the best way to bring the RH up?

I think 6.2 is a bit low for soil. Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I think it’s gotta be between 6.5 and 7.5. I know i aim for about 6.8 and my run off normally tests at about 6.5
6.5 is optimal for all nutrient uptake in soil. Different nutes and micros are best absorbed at that pH. I swing between 6.2 to 6.8.

I started another tent just for germination and veg. The little guys have started to stand up. My 2 questions are
1. is this too much stretch for a seedling?
2. When do I transplant them into soil?

I also did pick up a few smaller pots to put them into before I put them into the 7gal final grow bags.

Side note: I think I'm hooked already I have 2 2x4 grow rooms and a 4x8 on the way. Also brought a dehumidifier for the weather coming up in a couple of months. The plan it to have a crop every 8 weeks. the first 2x4 will be for germination and cloning. 2nd will be for training and veg and the 4x8 flowering.

Plan:
Room 1 2x4
clone / germinate
2/3 weeks (until healthy to transplant)

Room 2 2x4
4' T5 fixture 6 tubes @6500k
Veg and train for 4 weeks
*not sure yet how I will do this with out a scrog or sog net, but I will do my home work and figure it out*

Room 3 4x8
3000w led (more like 1500 true watts) 3 100w spreed out
Veg / Flower
veg 2 weeks or until sog or scrog is full
flower to completion

not sure if 6 week rotation is correct but any advice is welcome

not sure if the led shop light is doing any good but I figure why not

The base of your seeding looks strong, if it looks skinny n weak like it’s goin to fall over is to much stretch. Over the next few days you will get a few more nodes.(sets of leaves) if the distance between them is to far or to short , adjust your light hight to manipulate this stage of growth.
I’d leave the little guys in there for about a week , give it time to get the root system build up.

Just because you bought 8 week seeds doesn’t mean they will finish for you in
8 weeks , 8 weeks is 100% perfect conditions. If you stress them add more time , if to do any training at the start of flower it will add time etc .

Right now, before you even think of askin
“Are they done yet?” Go buy a 100x loop.

If you want continuous bud , why not divide the 4x8 into 2 . Fill half of it , wait 4-5 weeks fill the other side , now your cropping every 4-5 weeks instead of 8-10

Looks good tho,

Good luck with your grow project... Been a big fan of LED for about 2 years now.. was always a HPS guy previously and CFL for cloning rooms.

So i decided to ditch the 2x4 rooms and go with a 4x8 I had no idea how much bigger the 4x8 would be, It a damn room in my bed room!!! I feel like a little kid playing in a big ass Christmas box :)

still waiting on the carbon filter and for these little girls to start growing. once again thanks to everyone for the help with this build. I'm still trying to figure out to to put the exhaust and intake
