growing in a wardrobe...

Thanks for the hint @Randomblame ! I could imagine even one 400ml can would be enough for all my strips. So still pretty affordable (btw, tme has a lower price). I am thinking about to cover all my indoor LEDs aswell, so I can do some foliar spraying. Actually I take every plant out of my cab to do so, because I can‘t rise the light...
Yeah, this stuff is quite effective, because it only takes a thin layer to get the desired insulation. I'm sure you can insulate many strips and COB's with it, if you apply it without many losses it should be enough for a squaremeter or more.
If possible I would spray as many strips in once as I can to avoid losses.
I would put the bare strips side by side on a paper pad and isolate/spray them all in one go. This way much less is lost and when everything is dry one can stick the isolated strips on the heatsinks and then ..... happy foliar spraying!

Yean. Pretty unique red flower. Where you get it?
haha, here are some pics without the red led lightning (day +/- 50):

it's the only girl I got out of a pack of 5, but she was a keeper! 3rd round. Lost the mother recently, and will need to revegg her now. The plant is like incarnted peace :peace:

And this is my "Sunshine Daydream" by Bodhi Seeds. My wife calls them snowballs...

These two are my most favourite plants, happy to harvest them soon again. Last round I chopped them early, because of spider mites.

@Serva Nice light builds and flowers. I trust your judgment and you've shown the proof. But how hard do you run the strips that have no alu backing?
In this picture at ~100%. But I got 40 gen2 strips to add. Left and right are my previous veg panels with less strips.

Dude sick build!! How much head room do you have in your space?
Thanks!

There is a slope above, just enough space to mount a filter, a ventilation and an exhaust fan. The white part is 3 ft tall, and the light is mounted at maximum possible height.

@Nutria I just changed the strips and did some pics for you. As you see quite simple, nothing fancy. Done two panels within two hours:

btw, I LOVE THESE NEW CONNECTORS!!!! So easy to use compared to gen1... (I am using stranded wire) And you can't damage these connectors, so they are really re-usable.

Nearlly 1800 LEDs:

@Randomblame May I ask you once more for help please. I decided for a 3000/3500K spec and no 660/CRI90 addon for now. But I would like to hang two UVB tubes (around 40cm) between the three panels. What would be a cheap way to do so? Can't find anything in the hardwarestore, neither online. But I also have never used fl tubes :D Maybe you can help me?! I remember you also did some selfmade reflectors for them? Btw how did the meat tubes turned out?

Thank you! You did drill holes and then used self tapping screws, right?
Aren't you afraid of the stranded wire breaking inside the connector?
