DIY with Quantum Boards

I think i might sell some of my spares and get a 320 for my 4 x 4. I use a 315 CMH right now. It is amazing how LED is finally coming into its own and producing quality lighting. COBS and QBS are pretty awesome. And in smaller situations the lesser heat and lower wattage really help. And 10 amp circuits are all over the place. You can get small tents and a QB or COB and actually run it with an exhaust fan and little fan and only pull 300 to 400 watts (2.5 to 3.5 amps)
I am pretty amazed at how well many of you do with the QB.

For dIY LED QBs with samsung F strip LED's, how important is selecting color temp? should i go with 3000k or 5000k or a mix of both in 1 QB setup? or just get both but separate (3000k on 1 setup, 5000k on another set up, move plants around ) and which is better for what situation?

What are your thoughts on parallel vs series connections? i recall in school that for series, if one goes out, all of it goes out. not sure if thats true here. any pros/cons of each?

3000 is good all around from veg to flower.

I think mixing spectrums is a waste of time unless you have a board with mixed leds on it. You not blending much of the spectrum otherwise, you just lighting different parts of the plant with different spectrum. 3000k, 3500k work just fine for both veg and flower. 4000k works well also actually, I'm growing some plants under a 4k QB 120 right now
