Day #19 Changed the duty cycle on the light yesterday. 5000K is now running @ 40% and the 3000K is running @ 67%. Total wattage on the light is now 216 watts. Also took out the small 35 watt fan blowing up into the canopy and replaced it with a box fan. On low it uses 51 watts. So I added about 30 watts to the grow yesterday Total wattage of the grow is about 305 watts now. Dehumidifier still hasn't kicked on to date Humidity pretty much stays in the high 30's temperature average is about 71 F 0119181216e.jpg

Day# 33 Filled up the bluemats res today going to let it water for awhile. View attachment 4083274 View attachment 4083276
you know, i rather like that clear tubing. Then you can tell if there are any air bubbles in the system. once in a great while i have a little hiccup in the line for some reason and it would be nice to be able to see it and have to bleed the lines out. I have silicon hosing, but it's orange and not clear. I also need to invest in those drip dispersers too. Been enjoying the thread man. Keep up the good work :weed:

Didn't plan it that way just used old Computer water cooling stuff and drip irrigation parts I had laying around. Found out I had to go out of town and just threw everything together at the last minute. The gravity res is just a kitty litter pale that is square holds a little more then 4 gallons. Being square made it easier to do a water tight seal for the hose. Drippers are just irrigation lines with small holes drilled into them and a deck screw for a cap. Bit on the ghetto side but it works. Blumats are worth the money though saved my butt on this grow for sure plants would have been hurting for sure 9 days without water. Glad your enjoying the thread.

Yeah anything to make it easier is how I roll these days since my heart attack. Ph meter is in the trash can just do teas these days dont even care what the PH is anymore. Put the amendments in the soil and let the bacteria take care of it. Stress free growing these days kinda have to laugh at all the stupid shit I used to do when I started out. lol live and learn

Yeah too much stuff in the house for winter like my aloe and a bunch of herbs that will die here. Need a green house outside so I don't have to bring anything in for the winter. Top dressed neem meal and Diatomaceous earth and mixed up a gallon of neem and oregano oil and watered with that. I will have to go get some more habanero peppers tomorrow and make up some more spray . Frass is on the way. Not too worried about it there is always next time , might even have the new light built by then.

you building LEDs yeah? I'm looking to make a switch to LED this summer to battle the heat, and then use my HPS lights during the colder seasons. I know buying a prefab light is more expensive than making it myself... but i literally have enough hobbies and don't have time to learn to do something new lol.

If you HAD to buy a prefab LED, which ones would you be looking at? I run 600w HPS now, and generally my area of coverage needed is 5x4. I have about 7' ceilings.
