More holes wont hurt but coco holds 20% air even when fully saterated. Watering every day exchanges the old used air for fresh. If your concerned then when you up pot use smart pots
Yea I have the smart pots. I also didn’t mix with perlite yet so that was ignorant. I’ll mix that in when I transplant

Pruned lower stems finally. Not real sure why I waited.
6.0 ph 2 mL cal/mag - 3 mL grow big. Apparently I am being timid.
Will get supplies for transplant tomorrow morning. Maybe transplant so I can start bending these plants

Flushed some coco perlite mix with just tap water. Got the miracle grow kind of perlite so I ll flush a couple times before transplanting.

Didn’t check plants for over 24 hours and they ended up pushing into the glass on the enclosure and burned some leafs on one. No biggie. You’d think I was trying to kill these things. This is such a good learning experience. I’m glad I didn’t just do autos.

Pots were dry.
Fed ph 6.5.
Cal/mag 2mL
Grow big 3mL
For 1 gal of water, fed till runoff
Runoff was ph6.0 and 745 ppm

Still look pretty good. Amazing how much water they need in that coco. I'm still on like 2 shotglasses per plant every other day in soil, and maybe 18" under a 400W MH. Are you moving them to soil in the next room? What lights are next?

Those are 5 gal air pots filled with coco and perlite, they will be under 2 600 watt hps. They are adjustable but I’m not sure if I should shove them under one 600 watt light or two 300 watt lights.

Ah, I didn't know coco looks like soil. I guess you mean to make the monsters like 2 plant per each 600W? Or if you had 2x300 closer you might expose more surface area to the light. I don't really know if it matters though.

Good read mate.
I like the detail. It’s always in the details. So I watered yesterday and just over 24 hours later I’ve got two dry pots and two mostly dry. Adjusted the tie backs and added ff open sesame 1 teaspoon per gallon.

So I read, above mentioned post, watering is all about timing and then ignored it on the two that were still damp. Unfortunately that’s the adjustments I have to make and I’ll suffer any consequences due to those changes.
Thanks again brother

I don't mind if it is stuck to just one leaf. But sometimes it clamps the tips of the cotelydons together

Alright moved on over to the big girls room. 2x 600 watt hps. Will turn them down to 300 and get the lights a little closer. I think I’ll try to keep as close as possible and fill this screen up before the flowering stretch. My leafs are kinda crunchy. I might be getting to hot on the tops of the plants. The thermostat is reading anywhere from 73 to 82 but it was on the ground next to the pots. This room is going to be a chore to keep cool. I’ll be pumping air into it as of now since it’s cool outside. I’ll feed and top when lights come back on. How do the roots look?

Since it’s the first water after transplant I watered a gallon each. Topped all four branches. This will be a four way main. I’ll probably end up losing the bottom two branches on each plant. Maybe I should get rid of them now so they can focus on the two mains soon to be four mains.
