Classic Hermie Pictures

Just wanted to show what a classic hermie is....

This little one has went through, hot and cold snaps this season. After i finished my other one, this one started to flower. The next day i found her with some of her branches knocked off, and some of the tips actually eaten off. So i set a couple of traps and got the little bastard (mouse). After i cleaned her up, she was still a female, nice pretty one at that. welp 24 hrs ago, i found she had hermied. My bet is because of the stress she went through in the last couple of days. So i wanted to show what a hermie looks like, and how you can tell. Figure this would be a nice send off to this plant. Currently i still have it under the lights, gonna move it outside this weekend. I'll either keep it in the pot and let it finish, pull her, or just gorilla her on to the property somewhere quiet and let mother nature take over.
Yes, she has other problems that might have had a effect on the process of it turning hermie. She hermie none the less....

Time to go into my Bag O Seeds again...lol

The first picture is she wasn't a hermie and what she looked like, notice the bottom of the plant, how the flowers were eaten off by something.

This is her now her now in her hermie state:

for those who don't know what hermie is, this is what it looks like on a flowering plant, she was a good female in flower

I’m actually kind of impressed with her/his/it’s structure, considering the (with respect) shitty lighting. Nice.

shitty lighting...lol....not bad for a guy who uses 5 cfls and 3 led bulbs...lol

yes i am considering upgrading my lighting to something esle when $$$$ is good

been browsing the timber COB setup, similiar like yours, also looking at quantum boards too....try to cut the flowering time down a tad...

still got some work to do, i admit

the one in the picture is the one i already finished and is drying now

Welp i think i figured out what i'm gonna do with it. Just gonna move it outside and let it finish. It's pheno structure is just wonderful in a way. I've got more pictures of it i'll put up later on.

outside down here right now upper 30's to lower 40's in the night, mid 60's during the day.......think "it" will finish fine.

After i move "it", gonna clean the room, and go another round, still got 4 months in this growing season....

i came up with this while sitting in the room looking it over, a few beer, little smoke...all good...love to experiment.

ok it's outside, figure I'd finish outside with this one, safety first.

now the question what to do with it, seeds and pollen....hmmm

or do I just destroy it?WP_20180127_001.jpg WP_20180127_002.jpg

It’s too cold do u think it’s gonna make it???? It rained all day today also but I don’t have any ice u must be in north east Texas... That would have been a nice plant bro ..I have an extra 400 watt ballast and an air cooled tube with a bulb for sale if u want it

hey @Tx-Peanutt thanks for stopping in. The answer to you question that picture i got was during a light mist rain that day. I think its gonna make it honestly temps where i'm at high 30's to low 40's, high's hitting mid 60, to 70. I'm in South Texas just fyi.....

Yeah it would have been a nice plant, wish "it" wouldn't have turned like it did, but for experimental purposes "it" will do to figure out the grow season's outside where i'm at. Gonna pop a couple more of mysterious beans i have. See if i can continue in my grow season, got alot of work in the closet to do.....

Couple more pictures, seems like it came back, nice a green foliage, especially after what happened....

ok the pictures are from this last Satuday to this Monday morning......

hey you gotta do what you gotta do in this day of age. If we knew each other better i wouldn't mind taking that hps off your hands too....

eh my neighbors aren't bad, especially when they are a acre and a half away. The family on one side are usually gone during the day, and the elderly couple are a bunch of hippies, so i can play it cool in my little outdoor area.....

so it was 35 this morning, and i think it actually likes the temps, wouldn't see why not, i've seen video's of cannabis in nepal, why wouldn't it hold the temps...hmmmm

like my wife said "isn't it time to start seedlings for the garden" yep that's my girl.......:blsmoke:

I hear that it’s hard trusting people these days if u was close this way we could meet up somewhere but if ur in south Texas near corpus like I used to be your way to far I’m closer towards Houston... I can promise u I wouldn’t burn u but they all say that ...Lol Yes it is that time of the year to get them started I’m about 3 weeks ahead of u I done started my seedlings already...

so i took a few moment to ck on "it" today. Trying to confirm a few things about hermies i've read and or i've dealt with in the past....

dunno if this true, seem to be. while i was doing a little research i read that a female that hermies the flower itself will turn white...in this case it did.....then from this line of thinking the seeds that might or will come off should be a feminized seed.....

course you can't believe everything you here or read....just gotta go by evidence, research....and then try them out....

i had a thought of just giving it to a friend of mine who has honey bees....be a great plant they can play around

still on the fence though....hmmmm

Yeah it would be called a s1 “self pollinated” but taking the risk of hermie seeds but there is only one way to find out ,grow them out...Lol

okie dokie

little update on this little "it"....been nice weekend, decided to go out and check on what i have. Notice "it" is starting to have some problems, dunno if its a good thing or a bad thing. In general "it" looks healthy, it could prolly use some feeding, ran out of the some of the garden stuff last weekend to try to. Owe well.....with the weather we have the aka rollercoaster of the 50's and the 80's, as it was last weekend......

still trying to figure out the timing a cutting it down, and maybe grabbing the seeds from it, but the problem is i haven't found anything about it though, which is strange....maybe keep looking around...heck i dunno...always like advice maybe its something i've missed...

without further adew here "it" is:

on a side note...i've been reading about what they call "true hermies" think i might have found one.....
