Hey guys ive been waiting almost 2 weeks to see sex on 4 bagseeds and i think this is the first starting to show. Will be monitoring twice daily and will bin in 48hrs if no pistils appear. Kind worried as it looks like 2 others are starting to show similar growths. Any second opinions on this one or things to watch for would be great.20180126_195514.jpg20180126_195315.jpg20180126_150203.jpg20180126_150117.jpg

Thanks guys i guess i knew it myself but being a first grow didnt want to trash it for nothing. One of four down now so will be keeping a close eye on the others. Will post some pics when they show too if youre all able to give another look then thatd be tops.

Think i may have 2 hermys but again some other opinions would be good. The 2nd of the plants has pistils formed but seems to have sacks too. What got me is that one went from a sack to having a pistil emerged from it within 12hrs. They will go to use as butter but i dont have the space to isolate and grow out. Would rather scrap the lot and move the 2 50 day old fem crits into the flower room.

Plant 1 first 2 pics, plant 2 the rest.

Shit just aint quite goin your way right now. Bagseed if it was supposed to be top shelf, it was either a polination gone wrong or a herm to begi with. Sorry Im not insulting your source but it was probably a herm. Imo autos and fems have gotten deep into the black market and are creating a genetic mess. 20 years ago Id pop seeds out of mexican brick weed without thinking twice cause the chances were high it was a "straight" seed m x f no coloidal silver.

Personally Id keep them untill just before sacs open, if you dont have any female flowers showing yet chances are low for unintended polination, use water spray to inactivat pollen. This way you can watch it, if you start to see similarities in the others you have, then send up red flags and inspect thouroughly, cause I think you have herm seeds. You can still get a pure female tho, so dont dispair.

You have a few hermies on your hands. Just call it bed genetics, which it is basically. Time to fork out a few bucks (or quid) and get better genetics. You seem to have a grasp on good growing, now to get your hands o some good genetics to go along with it.

Cheers guys, i knew it was a risk and treated the bag seed as a learning experience which it certainly has been. Had hoped that id get one decent plant from the four. Temp is a constant battle here so they haven't had the most stress free life. Ive got one left still to show so i may still get a lady from the lot but honestly think i may just scrap it so i can get my decent genetics (fem critical mass) into flower sooner.

Best bet buy seeds from a breeder

Ive got my head around it all now after a number of ph locks, nute burns, heat stress etc etc and all on plants that will just be butter. Now ive got a chance to let the real ladies shine. Bought a 10pack of feminized critical mass from a decent bank, have 2 almost 2 months in veg just waiting on the bagseed to finish (was supposed to be 4 but i damped off 2 of the cubes and killed them, rookie error) and 4 more about 2 weeks in. Plan was always to run 4 concurrent fem clones in each stage at all times. Now i can flower my 2 big girls and give the other 4 the space i wanted to in the vege room. Only thing left to get my head around is cloning and harvest....cant wait for the second one!

On the last two pics are the males supposed to have hairs coming out of them? A diagram looked exactly like that and it said female. How long did you veg them their a decent size.

Hope you didn't throw out the ones in the second pics with the hairs coming out of the balls that may have been a female. The first two pics were wierd looked like a hermie.

These one were veged near 3 months as i waited on some equipment for the flower room to arrive. The one with a pistil coming through a sack is one of the two hermies, they are both still in the room at the moment the male was chopped yesterday. Will let them keep going till the last plant shows. Then if the last is a loss all will go to butter or hash if theres enoigh trichs and the crits go in. If the last is fem then will have to weigh up if its worth the 1000w hps for a single plant or just trash n start fresh with the fems.

Did the best i could to get pics with shit light and have left them another night just to observe what happens with another few hours.

Can anyone explain to me whats happening here from a scientific or personal experience viewpoint? Im still guessing they are hermies but shouldnt the two sex organs be mostly separate not appearing to change?

Guess now that the time has come im getting the angst of chopping the hard work when some of it looks so good and looking for any excuse not to
